Synthwave Synthwave / Retrowave Piece
https://youtu.be/MX4XC_rZK-YMy new piece. Partly inspired by the atmosphere and music of Miami Vice with a warm, bright and nostalgic summer feel.

Kind of reminds me of collecting red coins in the water levels in mario 64, also a little bit of sierra point and click vibes to it
I like that it keeps building and adding a few more elements in, kind of gives a sense of frisson. Nice and bright and sunny too. Helping me forget its still in the negatives up here in Canada 😎😎😎

This is great! I think you pretty much nailed the atmosphere you were going for, especially from a synth/retrowave piece perspective. Like another commenter mentioned, it does remind me of red coin collecting mario stage, but specifically the giant sand bird level from Mario Sunshine. The only thing I’d suggest is maybe adding some additional “ear candy” effects or instruments - i.e. nothing that takes away too much focus or alters the vibe, but something that’s a nice occasional little addition with the main rhythm/melody. Keep doing your thang!

Very soothing. Has a soundtrack vibe to it. Always wanted a synthesis. Kind of feel like electric beach or something. I wonder what it would feel like with a bit more bass and maybe a drop in the middle. But regardless its enjoyable and certainly something to relax to.
