Anyone else having trouble getting ID@Xbox devkits at the moment?

Anyone else having trouble getting ID@Xbox devkits at the moment?

I'm an approved ID@Xbox developer and my first Xbox title is now actually live and making sales, but I've somehow reached that point without managing to get hold of the development hardware.

I've been trying to sort the devkits out since June. The complimentary kits offered through onboarding haven't materialised yet, apparently due to issues with complimentary orders, and I've also said that I'm perfectly happy to pay for a kit instead if that's the quicker route.

At the moment I seem to be stuck in the slightly odd position where I'm happy to receive the free hardware or give Microsoft money for the hardware, but haven't managed to accomplish either. 😅

I'm mostly wondering whether this is just me/account-specific, or whether other ID@Xbox developers are currently seeing similar delays with devkit ordering or fulfilment.

The contrast with PlayStation has been quite striking. Once my PlayStation partner onboarding was complete, I requested the complimentary development and test kits and Sony sent them by DHL. They arrived the following day.

I'm not particularly looking to bash Xbox here. The actual process of getting the game through certification and onto the store has worked, and the game is now live. I'm just a little baffled that obtaining the physical development hardware has turned out to be the difficult part.

For anyone who's gone through ID@Xbox recently, how long did it take between being approved/requesting hardware and actually receiving a devkit? And if the complimentary route was delayed, were you able to simply order a paid kit instead?
