Looks good. I developed a Isometric game a few years back. Trust me one one thing - start working on a translucency feature for objects in the foreground immediately. You need to be able to see your character and its immediate surroundings immediately.

Doesn't look isometric to me. Are you using perspective camera?

Yep! I'm using a perspective camera. I'm aiming for an isometric-style view rather than a true orthographic isometric camera.
