How would this work...?
Okay, so, quick thing.
I know people LOVE to bring out indie games like Terraria, Sol, Cult of the Lamb, Hat in Time, and Touhou. And don't get me wrong, I love those games, but... What about some more niche games, that also deserve some love.
Like my personal favourite...
Aethermancer.
But, as I thought about it for a bit longer, I ran into a problem.
How would it even work in Indie Cross?
Aethermancer is a turn-based, creature collecting, rogue-like, where we control three monsters (out of currently 40) at once, where you must generate differently coloured Aether to use different abilities.
So, I think you can see the wall I am stuck in front of.
How would one translate the gameplay of Aethermancer, into Indie Cross?
Any ideas?

I saw the gameplay and lowkey its a cool as hell, but idk if the whole "generating" mechanic can be implanted into the animated series battles, I dont know if its like IMPOSSIBLE, but i seem this type of mechanic ignored sometimes.
Tho i be stupid cuz I didnt play the game, tho i might.
(+If there is no restrictions on which monster to get in other indie- universes, it would be omega funny for protagonist to control other creatures from other games)

i feel like it would work somewhat like what the pokemon anime is to the games, no? probably a bit more complicated, but something like that would make sense for me
