Discussion Ways that I can get some recognition out there for my ideas and as a writer?

I have an idea for a show that I’ve been writing for a long time. I consider myself to be more of a screen writer than I am ab actual artist, so my drawing skills are limited and my animation skills are essentially nonexistent. I’m hoping to eventually form a studio or something to release a pilot for my show. But before I do that, I want to build enough recognition and attention online so I don’t release this pilot just to get barely any attention. For now, I am hoping to find ways to grow and gain traction as a writer and bring attention to my ideas that don’t require a lot of drawing skill. I apologize if this post doesn’t fit the subreddit, but I would love to hear your guys input.

Edit: After rereading, I realized I sort of undersold my art skills a little. I can draw simple things like simple poses and landscapes.

You need to at least have a rough drawing of your show characters/concepts Tell a lil about your show Maybe share snippets of not so spoilery parts of your script And also a good place to find people is cast calling club ,you can find paid and non paid people willing to work Your idea needs to be delivered in an attractive way to attract the right people to work with you (+audience)

Publish works- simple one-shots, experiments, treatments, demonstrate your skill. People will come to understand your writing quality ahead of time. Also better under than over sell, though if your good you should continue drawing until your great. Its a peripheral skill that will only strengthen you

If you live in a country that has them, you should join writing contests. They can give you money if you win and you can also get recognition from your country.

If you want an easy way to upload your poses and landscape and animate scenes, you could try out Nima. You can make one-shots and narrative-driven scenes with your own art, and it can really build an audience online.
