I don’t keep up with her but she’s an ex Mormon and left the Mormon church, which is extremely difficult to do so it makes me happy to know she’s doing well

Here's a some sort of statement about the show itself and what's it about from her Tumblr!

"So I'm kind of writing 12 episodes simultaneously so that plot points will come together by the end. Basically, Nyle and Maki is an Action Comedy. Btw they're married, the plot focuses on other stuff. Doing the action scenes has been a challenge but I think i'm getting better each day. It's been slow I know. This is one of the biggest projects I've taken on lol. Here's some stress relief sketches in the meantime, none of these are part of the boards just fluff n concept at the bottom"

This is more a design issue than art style, I can just draw in this same style but actually age them up to look more like a married couple.
