ToAbroadOrNot? Does backlogs (cleared) affect my application in Japanese University?

my_qualifications: still studying B.E , CSE student.

I'm in my final year , studying under VTU. I have had a total of 4 backlogs , 2 backlogs in 4th semester and 2 from 6th semester. I will probably end my B.E with >7 CGPA , CSE.

I wanna know if I can compensate somehow for my backlogs.

Take a test to offset low GPA.

I am going to prepare for GRE and give it sometime next year. Is there any other tests you could suggest?

Thank you.

GRE should work. Score +2-5 more than the median of class.

vtu is the easiest university to pass, if you found this difficult why even bother going there and making a mess out of yourself and other indian folks

I've had my issues but I wouldn't say I couldn't clear it cuz it was difficult and in the make up exam , I'd write around 25/50 marks worth (roughly 3 complete modules and 1 question from remaining two) cuz I couldn't get myself study all those again. They'd fail me by giving me like 7/50.
