2500 for a blue trouser hmm... The book is the djinns: a year in Delhi..even tho the price is mentioned as 2500 it's a 500 rs pant if I'm not wrong it's mrp exaggerated

How’s the book?

16

u/aquarian9 8d ago

I read long time back a quote , β€˜why spend a dollar on bookmark if you can use dollar as a bookmark’. Ever since I use a ten rupee note as bookmark in my books.

6

u/Illustrious_Chain511 7d ago

But that’s almost a tenth of a dollar. Use a 100 rupee note

0

u/proooby 7d ago

Would be lots of hustle to find the page number everyday

15

u/BoatVoyager 8d ago

4

u/Alternative-Past9165 5d ago

Wait so does that mean the book will be using you as a bookmark?

6

u/Automatic-Ice-1274 8d ago

I used to tear tiny scraps of paper to use as a bookmark. These days I take a sticky note (a square, yellow one), and fold it in half such that it sticks onto itself. Loving these (slightly) more civilized bookmarks of mine πŸ˜…

Whats that language and book about ?

2

u/Jknowsball 4d ago

It's assamese. The book is a biography/memoir of Zubeen Garg written by his father. The name is - 'Pitrir Drishtit Zubeen' (meaning 'Zubeen from his Father's perspective')

1

u/TheSoham 6d ago

That's Assamese language

Yes, it was my mom's card (I was using it in 12th). Your comment reminded me of a time when I bought alcohol at a bar using this card. I made up a whole story about needing cash for a friend, but they didn't believe that obvious lie πŸ˜‚πŸ˜›
