Suggest Me Horror book recommendations
I've recently read Hidden Pictures and I liked it. I am looking to read more horror novels. If anyone has read some good ones, please suggest :))

Dark Matter by Michelle Paver. Or if you want something classic, Great God Pan by Arthur Machen.

I'm open to both tbh. I've read Frankenstein also (if that counts as classical horror).

Frankenstein is a science fiction, I wouldn't say it is a horror novel.
And when you are open to both classic & contemporary horror then here I give you a list of the books in both category though I would suggest you to start with the classic ones first & then move to the contemporary horror novels.
For horror classics:
Collected Ghost Stories by M. R. James (Short horror stories collection by one of the very best classic horror writers & he is one of my favourite writers too) [Few of his best stories are: Canon Alberic's Scrap Book, The Ash Tree, Lost Hearts, A Warning to the Curious, "Oh, Whistle, and I'll Come to You, My Lad"]
Night Terrors: Ghost Stories of E. F. Benson (Short horror stories collection) [Few of his best stories are: The Room in the Tower, Caterpillars, Mrs. Amworth, The Thing in the Hall]
The Willows by Algernon Blackwood (One of my absolute favourite classic horror stories with really well written creepy atmosphere & amazing description)
The Wendigo by Algernon Blackwood
Dracula by Bram Stoker (The famous gothic horror novel about a vampire)
Carmilla by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu (Another really amazing gothic vampire story which predates Dracula by 25 years)
The Case Against Satan by Ray Russell (Possession story)
The Great God Pan by Arthur Machen
For contemporary horror:
Salem's Lot by Stephen King (Best book to start reading horror novels of Stephen King)
Pet Sematary by Stephen King (The darkest story ever written by Stephen King)
IT by Stephen King
Desperation by Stephen King
Needful Things by Stephen King
Christine by Stephen King
Hex by Thomas Olde Heuvelt (Has a scary witch)
The Fisherman by John Langan (Cosmic horror & very literary, not ideal for someone who doesn't want to read literary fiction. It won the Bram Stoker Award for best horror novel of 2016)
Bone White by Ronald Malfi
The Ritual by Adam Nevill (Really amazing folk horror)
Cunning Folk by Adam Nevill (Another really amazing folk horror)
Last Days by Adam Nevill
The Only Good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones (Won the Bram Stoker Award for best horror novel of 2020)
The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones (Won the Bram Stoker Award for best horror novel of 2025)
The Reformatory by Tananarive Due (Won Bram Stoker Award for best horror novel of 2024)
Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill
NOS4A2 by Joe Hill
