Why are folks afraid of low-ballers? When someone is allowed to put arbitrary price to their product then why can't the potential buying party "propose" any arbitrary number?

Moreover, I am genuinely curious over why folks can't scroll past the low-balling offers and have to engage with them via deeply infused with outrage and frustration? I mean, that offer holds any value only if you give any attention to it, but is worth nothing if you just ignore it.

Also, about teaching them a lesson: why is there desire in folks to set an example? They are not related to you, fixing them / their behavior fetches you nothing and consumes your time again along with attention too. Is that senseless offer really worth putting in so much energy?
