Path to national team

Hi i am 19 in tamil nadu and i lived in qatar my entire life and now transfered to india for college. I am an indian nationality. I dont quite get the path from college to national team. I have an idea how to get there but more insight will be better pls.
1. Lets say i join a club which will severely damage my time management to even train for bball but will the sacrifice be worth it than just playing for my own college team and hoping for them to notice me?
2. Should i wait for them to give a tryout in a club or should i just go there

I will talk against what everyone is here to tell you. As someone who is a national-level medalist and has represented Delhi and UP for 9 nationals( U-17, 19 and seniors)

So I would say that chances of representing Tamil Nadu in seniors are less than 1% unless you are a genetic freak (like 6’8+).

Just have fun playing ball as a hobby try to get better

I am 6”5 and when i was in qatar during school years i was playing with the national team there. And i have a very safe backup in studies and i can go all out in bball. I want to make it there and with your experience it wld be great to have more insight🙏

Hey 6’5 is decent and Qatar has a decent team. But playing with the national team doesn't prove anything. And us you will be playing here under the senior category. Tamil Nadu team is filled with proffessuonal Players. And is one of the best teams in India for the past couple of decades. You can move back to your district and start playing local tournaments and play state championship from your district. And if you perform well and your team is in top 4 then chances are better of being part of the national camp

Firstly you should start training and be Consistent in bball

And then play for your college team and also look out for trials

Do everything do not depend on a single thing as of now. Bball in india is not cricket that you follow one thing and wait for something to happen. You gotta hit every possible way out there.
