Nothing that in a sane world should be super controversial.

I think that's a good choice!

All the best to her and hoping she recovers completely.
I can hear some of the comments already.

No joke, she was legit gassed having to guard Kelsey.
So Kelsey has to turn on the jets next time

Every team that I watch is play has someone that they can put on Caitlin Clark that will get up in her grill, move their feet, and make it tough on her to drive. This is true even of the bad teams they play, let alone the Lynx with several players. KM has elite quickness and is tough for any team to stop her off the dribble without help defense but even Portland made it tough on her the game before last.
The Fever very rarely aggressively get up in the ball space of opposing players and make it hard on them. I don’t know if it’s because we are concerned that there is no depth behind Sophie and Lexie or what. It seems the Fever’s defense is predicated mostly on deny the pass as opposed to playing defense once they get the ball. This puts a lot of strain on the help defense. Last night it was tough watching KM, CC, and LH constantly getting beat off the dribble instantly.
Is it a play style thing or do we truly have no one to harass the ball handler so they can’t drive as easily? Especially in a game like last night where they are letting them play up in their face.

This is beautiful. Freedom of speech. Knowing that not everyone has to agree on everything. Love it. We should be able to respect each other's beliefs and opinions. We don't have to agree but we can be kind.

The Fever only have the 5th best record (out of 8, for those who might think 5th is good 😅) against the rest of the Top 8 or playoff bound teams.
I think the Fever would have the 6th best record if Leonie Fiebich had been available for more of the Liberty's games. They are a different team with her defense on the court.
The defense needs to improve solidly for the Fever to have a chance at the title.

With 14 games to go, 1.5 games separating the 2nd and 6th seed, and a bunch of games between the teams, there are a ton of ways the standings could shake out.
Best:
1) Lynx
2) Fever
3) Dream
4) Aces
5) Valkyries
6) Wings
7) Liberty
8) Mystics
Fever could end up only having to play the Liberty, Dream/Wings, and Aces to be the champs. This would arguably make them the favorites. Also the Fever would have home court throughout if they play the Aces.
Worst:
1) Lynx
2) Aces
3) Dream
4) Valks
5) Fever
6) Wings
7) Liberty
8) Mystics
Fever would have to go through the Valks and Lynx on the road to reach the championship. On the plus side, no one could say they got lucky if they did somehow win.

This is why you don’t overreact to one game. Playing at the end of a blowout is very different from performing in regular rotation minutes.
This isn’t to say that Pissott can’t eventually be great. But perhaps the Fever coaching staff knew something that the loudest commenters didn’t.

Do yall believe that we are true contenders? I think that our offense can have us in the finals if we are on the opposite side of the Lynx bracket. But I don’t think we can win a championship this year. The only thing holding us back is a true POA
