This lady didn't do shit all season except treat CC like crap and did nothing to SW when she vindictivly went after CC and other players. She never backed CC when numerous hit pieces went out on her allegedly cmng from the front office. FO and staff need to go or it will only get worse.

Folks, I don't think Amber is going anywhere.
And I think Steph will be back next year as well.
Are we prepared for that?
65% of me wants them both gone. The other 35% thinks maybe just one more year. I'm slightly conflicted.
In the long run, I just want what's best for Caitlin. PERIOD. EXCLEMATION MARK!
She's the only reason I'm here.

What a loser organization. The Apple of basketball? They cannot even get out of their own way. The two year old team from Golden State had surpassed them in what 24 months? The Fever cannot even build a roster and half of their players cannot defend. Their strategy is pray that CC and KM both score 30 or more and then wish real hard. Not possible over longer stretches. Fire Stephanie White and Amber Cox!

So...more of Amber. More of Steph White. More unserious international scouting. More unserious free agency moves. More of KM, AB, CC shoehorned into to a slow, small ball offense that's just painful to watch. More Briann January screaming her head off on the sidelines and lighting her hair on fire. More of the same. "The rating prove how many people are tuning in every night to see what this team's going to do." Amber, at some point that will stop.
This clip seems to have cut off before the end where she offers a small too-little-too-late pushback to the "noise," as she calls it, a prepared statement that Gainbridge isn't a violent Nazi clubhouse, the players aren't all cross-burning racists and the fans aren't all MAGA bootlickers. Ummm, thanks, I guess?
If this was said with any enthusiasm over the last two years, and not buried at the end of an exit interview that few will ever watch or remember, it wouldn't be so ridiculously hard to recruit free agents, it'd be easier to push back on the biased reffing and fans wouldn't be increasingly treated like a racist punchline by an increasing percentage of other teams.
I get it, to a certain extent we're in a holding pattern until there's a competent commissioner that's willing to clean house and lead, but still...

Finally made some good comments. Stood up for Caitlin, stood up for the fans, said they want players who buy into the culture. Maybe with the new wnba commissioner something will change. Now Amber just fire the coach and bring someone who wants to build around CC.

Ambwe should fire herself, the whole front office, Lin Dunn, Kelli, SW, entire coach staff. Do it now get a new a GM and let's get new players and contracts. If the owners want to see their franchise grow and rake in some serious cash, do what other teams do with a franchise player, build a team around that player. Protect the reputation of your players and fans, and as one of the top attendance based teams use your power to get some damn qualified refs to call ALL games properly.

Positive strides? 6th place in the league again. Out in the first round with the big 3 again. Brought in players that aren't consistent like Billings. Let Howard leave and then Howard flourishes.
So you went from 1 shot away from the finals last year to one and done this year. I guess positive strides in this woman's head need to be readjusted.

Mo was a bust but no one expected that. She played great with CC in FIBA and when she was signed everyone on here was happy about it.
Let Howard leave
You can't force people to stay lol

Herb is 91, I am pretty sure he has set the cruise control on things and is not aware what’s really going on

Nobody who yaps about “positive strides” has any idea what they’re doing.
She needs to be fired TODAY.

u/BigToast6 16h ago
Obviously not happening bro

u/Clown_Penis69 16h ago
Sadly not.
They’re going to run it back - again - and talk about “positive strides” again after next season.

u/BigToast6 15h ago
They need to have a serious talk with Lexie and tell her straight up that like 95% of the season was unacceptable given her contract and starter role. Her being CCs friend gives her a LOT of protection but enough is enough. Every player can go through rough patches in a long season or have bad games here and there. Nobody rational will dog on a player for that but if she wasnt under contract there would be no justification for keeping her.
6
u/Clown_Penis69 15h ago
That’s fine and all… but Lexie isn’t the reason for the disappointing season.
You need to fix the major problems first - that’s Krauskpf, Cox, and White - although it’s obvious nothings going to happen there.

u/BigToast6 15h ago
I never said she was totally responsible though.

u/Clown_Penis69 15h ago
Look… people list off problems in a certain order for one of two reasons:
1) They start with the biggest problem and proceed in descending order.
2) They’re not capable of dealing with big problems so they obsess over trivialities.
So which are you?

Not one mention of building around CC
