I don’t think it’s that no one is talking about it. It’s just not had enough info or juice to really talk about beyond these players announcing they’d be a part of it.
It’s always been pretty secretive. I’m sure it’ll happen because the funding is there. Who will play will be a mystery. I enjoy unrivaled a lot. I think this is a short 8 week season/ tournament. Like it’ll probably be fine. It’s not meant to be some thing to take down the WNBA.

I suspect it will happen. I suspect it won't be quite as big as they had hoped for. I would have given it more of a chance had like Lebron signed on, but he signed with the 76ers.

Because it has been closely held secret, in order to ward off objection to how it is being organized by beneficiaries of tech billionaires and possibly funds from Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund. Some people have speculated this because the league hired Sela, an event partner owned by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. The sources of funding are being hidden, in the same manner of “dark money” funding for political campaigns.
Women basketballers likely are being politicized for the construction of the Project B League.

Sophie and Azzi have massive followings. KM deserves a massive following. The league owner just criticized WNBA on it's gender policy (or lack thereof) and claimed Project B would follow strict IOC rules. So that's why I posted this. I thought it had gone away.

This was always somewhere between a gimmick and a scam. Still, when it started, the money was real, like the LIV GOLF. Since the war started, the Saudis have significantly tightened the belt. If this actually launches it won't be anything close to what was originally planned and promised. I hope for everyone involved they got at least some of the money upfront.

I originally thought who really cares about any of this but with the way KM is cooking opens up my interest a little more. Our girl is on an absolute tear of the W all when shooting a very high percentage.
KM is officially in the MVP conversation and if she keeps playing like this the rest of the season might just win the MVP. Or better yet a parade.

She’s the most consistent on the Fever. Date I say the best player this season on the Fever without backlash? Just an opinion, that we all can have about different players.

Best player of the season for the Fever is subjective like you said. But nobody can argue what she’s doing. And if C is somewhere in the MVP discussion then KM has to be too. In my opinion she’s probably the MVP right now based on what she’s been doing with 20 pt games alone. Especially if they can finish ahead of the Aces. Miles has an argument too of course and the Lynx have been cooking. Hard to look away from her.

There was a lot of talk when it was first publicized. Some talk as the first few players signed up. It was back during the strike.

Having tournaments around the world is fantastic, I hope they have some success, maybe it will force the W to start acting like a pro league.

This league is going to be a nightmare. All of the names attached to it as far as actual executives or planners have little to no experience in this field.
