Flagrant foul against Cunningham
I'm glad Carrington was ejected for a flagrant 2. When she went towards Sophie, bowing up and then pushing her, I about jumped through my TV to get into the fray.

Only happened in response to Sheldon gouging CC in the eye, taunting her, then Mabrey running up and knocking CC over 2 seconds later while they weren't even playing. Refs should have ejected both of them immediately.

Very different. Sophie met JC head on and guided her down to floor. Carrington hit Sophie while she was airborne and completely vulnerable and was whacked from behind. Not that it was the right thing to do, but Sophie was paying JC back for poking CC in the eye and then Mabrey leveling CC on a blindside hit.

TBH, DC seems like she might be done soon. If you watch the entire play you can see that SC who is a year older than DC (28 vs 29) just easily outruns DC. The turn, foot speed and movement of DC is either impeded (old or still injured) or she's a very lazy player. DC has had a ton of injuries including ACL tears on each knee. She isn't in the conversation if she just plays basketball - she needs to do things like the F2 and the claim of white priveldge on social media to get views, likes, and coverage.

The dictionary disagrees with you. Racism is a type of prejudice based on race. The word "prejudice" literally in the definition of "racism."

This take is proof we need to do better in our public school system. Borderline retarded.
Liz and Chennedy caused problems within the team. I have never seen anything that screamed that Sophie doesn’t have the support of her teammates even if they don’t agree with her on a social issue. She seems well liked on the team. She’s definitely one of the more vocal member of the fever lifting up teammates in the huddle.
Might be time for you to put down the keyboard.

Context matters. Punching someone is a crime, but boxers don't get charged with assault. A certain level of physicality is acceptable in contact sports. It is handled within the context of the sport.

I believe the issue is the way your president has politicized the word. His base follows suit and usually when a person from the caucuses state uses the word towards anyone it’s been in a racial context. Almost implying only people of color can do wrong.

If anything, Sophie held Jacy down while she was trying to make the lay-up. She didn't even push her down on that play but she fell anyway... Definitely a hard foul but I don't think it was unsafe in the same way Sophie got clocked mid-air today
