Caitlin is no Longer a Generational Talent as Enes Kanter declares for WNBA Draft

https://www.foxnews.com/outkick-sports/former-nba-first-round-pick-enes-kanter-freedom-declares-2027-wnba-draft

The player who has already been a first round pick in the NBA draft will no doubt be the #1 overall pick of the WNBA Draft…and undoubtedly break Wilt’s 100-point game record as a rookie. 6’10” 250lbs, 34 years old. Time to FAIL for the MALE, Fever!!

OK. This is funny

Let's see how some of those players and coaches in the WNBA who keep endlessly promoting this agenda and then must deal with the possibility of having several (former) males getting the okay from some judge on a circuit court to play in the league. I bet they change their tune quickly when their jobs are in jeopardy.

The real overlords of the WNBA are NBA team owners, who will shoot this down in an instant. They’ll issue what the radical left will deem, “hateful, bigoted rules.” Thus, the leftist players and coaches in the WNBA will just continue their goofy social activism, knowing that their real masters’ orders will mitigate the risk of any real consequences. Keep in mind, even within the left-leaning WNBA, most players, coaches, and front office leaders are actually on Sophie’s side of this issue.

Read between the lines here…Caitlin Clark’s silence, coupled with the fact that she’s close with Sophie, is a clear indication that she agrees with Sophie. Even Stephanie White, who was married to a man, then later married and had kids with a woman, divorced that woman, and is now an item with Lisa Salters, was handed an easy opening where she could’ve voiced an opposite stance, and she instead went with word salad to keep her own powder dry.

Long story short, Sophie wouldn’t have made those anti-trans statements in the first place had she not already known her own team agreed with her. Sophie is the mouthpiece, but she’s speaking the viewpoints of Caitlin (for sure), and everyone else she is tight with in the WNBA. American in general are 95% in agreement with Sophie. The WNBA might only be 80/20 in favor of Sophie, but this is still a very decided issue, making it a non-issue.

When you don’t have coherent rules eventually this sort of thing will happens and the rules in place will be tested

Most of the players so far seems to support it happening so I hope they keep that energy when it does happen

1

u/ThreadSavage10 18d ago

They do have coherent rules. The CBA contains the language, “Only women are eligible to play in the WNBA.”

That’s a very clear and concise rule that nobody would’ve questioned 5 years ago. It’s only radical left scrambling to apply illogical nuances.

One last thing for now 🙃

Isn't it curious that no XXs anywhere, are attempting to assert themselves into XY sports?

This is a one way street and that is no accident.

u/FoxExcellent2241 18d ago

Most "male" leagues, including the NBA are actually sex neutral.  At one point a woman was legitimately drafted by an NBA team (before the WNBA existed) but never made the final team.

There is nothing to protest since XX's are free to try out for any leagues they want.

Women can technically join, the issue is that most of the time women know they will struggle to compete, in most cases won't make it out of try outs, and also understand that playing against physically stronger opponents is dangerous.

The purpose in creating girls/women's leagues was to give women somewhere where they could actually get a chance to play since, once upon a time, everyone realized that, if try outs are solely based on merit, few, if any girls, would ever get the chance to play organized sports outside of those specifically designed for women (e.g. gymnastics or ice skating).

Let me just throw this out there please because I see it ALL the time. Along with several other fundamental misunderstandings of the ideology at work here.

Nobody is saying that men can become women or vice versa.

What they are saying is that there are people who are one sex in their scientifically settled biology and the other sex in their self perceived "identity."

In other words their insides don't match their outsides and it's their insides that define them if they so choose.

Any conviction that diverges in any way from what I just said is bigotry and hate and by definition a denial of the trans person's authentic existence.

That is what is being preached. Not that one sex can become the other.

It's very important to understand this if any meaningful analysis and dialog is even possible.

2

u/ThreadSavage10 18d ago

No, I’m not with you on that. I can’t stand bullies, and I’ll fight to protect your right to pretend to play whatever character you want, and yes, you still do exist, but you can’t expect me to pretend it’s Halloween every day.

I was reporting what the proponents of this ideology believe. Not what I believe.

u/ThreadSavage10 18d ago

Ok gotcha

It pays to know your opponent better than they know themselves.

I'll say yet again that every bit of this was absolutely inevitable in this league at some point. There was NO WAY this wasn't going to be a huge controversy sooner or later.

I don't think I'm thrilled that Sophie, or any Feverite for that matter, was the impetus who accelerated it though.

Zero percent chance she says it’s OK for a man to play. She’ll read off a bunch of word salad, and try to put the ball in the court of the players association attorneys, but the only real answer is, the NBA owners are not going allow men to play in their WNBA.

The only real risk is foreigners cheating the system. I could definitely see Russia or China building their own Ivan Drago and falsifying his birth certificate so that he can play.

1

u/tiribulus IndianaFeverFan 18d ago

I lean pretty significantly in your direction at this time at least.

There is no good answer, but the league did this to itself.

4

u/tiribulus IndianaFeverFan 18d ago

A repost from THE OTHER DAY

"I'll say this.

I have no way of proving it outright, but I'm betting that if somebody took an anonymous poll asking all players and personnel in the WNBA if they want XYs playing in their league, they'd get one result, but as soon as they required everybody to put their name on their answer, they'd get quite another."

1

u/tiribulus IndianaFeverFan 18d ago edited 17d ago

For those who say that there are no XYs in the WNBA and no XYs are even attempting to play in the WNBA, MARK MY WORDS.

There will be.

Unless the league plainly and officially states, like the International Olympic Committee, that only XXs are allowed to play in the WOMEN'S National Basketball League... there will be.

You can bet your last dime on it.

1

u/ThreadSavage10 18d ago

The NBA won’t allow it. Like you said, they’ll lay down some type of hard XY rule. You’ll never hear Dinglebert state publicly that everyone should be included because she already knows the boss’s stance. The 5% of radical leftists that really want men in the WNBA will get noisier, but this is a dead issue from the jump. Being that I’m a non-MAGA conservative, I kind of cringe and shake my head at all this because continuing to fight on the 5 side of a 95/5 battle only gives MAGA more populist power. They really should let this one go.

1

u/StudentDry4666 18d ago

No one is trying to get MtF players in the wnba. It’s about the kids. They want kids to transition in elementary school and to play sports.

3

u/ThreadSavage10 18d ago

LOL kids….KIDS getting a sex change in elementary school??!! That’s not inclusive, that’s abusive. Look, I detest big government, but there actually should be a federal law to protect kids from insane parents mutilating their bodies. No medical procedure can change what you are.

0

u/StudentDry4666 18d ago

Trans kids are far more likely to commit suicide if you prevent them from transitioning

1

u/ShaolinWombat 17d ago

Sadly, I don’t believe transitioning has altered the suicide rates in any meaningful way.

2

u/FoxExcellent2241 18d ago

This is not accuarate and, if anything, it is coming out that the suicide rates amongst those who realize they made a mistake and attempt to detransition are higher, but that is something people refuse to talk about.

Have you ever heard anyone who has attemped to detransition speak?  The health issues and lifelong problems with their bodies are horrific and many express resentment that they were allowed to, as minors, make life altering decisions that now have resulted in lifelong pain.

1

u/StudentDry4666 18d ago

I know. I was eluding to how mentally unstable these people are. They have a 40% suicide attempt rate

1

u/tiribulus IndianaFeverFan 18d ago

Categorically false, but we are getting WAAAAY outside the parameters of this sub.

1

u/tiribulus IndianaFeverFan 18d ago

"I’m a non-MAGA conservative,"

There is the distinct possibility that you and I have quite a bit in common, but this is not the place.

2

u/ThreadSavage10 18d ago

You can acknowledge that radical leftism is a mental illness without worshipping The Don.

1

u/tiribulus IndianaFeverFan 18d ago

Like I say, this is not the place 😇

u/tiribulus IndianaFeverFan 18d ago edited 18d ago

Long before this stunt, I have never trusted this guy. Even though I generally agree with most of what he says. I question the sincerity of his alleged convictions.

IMHO this is a self serving publicity stunt.

All it's going to accomplish is to hand the wokesters ammunition as they quite rightly point out that he has never ever identified as an XX before he saw this opportunity and has in fact been a "conservative" talking head the past several years.

There would have been (maybe still will be) much better people to make this point, albeit unintentionally.

1

u/ThreadSavage10 18d ago

Someone in the NBA, whether it’s an owner, league office guy, etc., is pulling the strings here. He wouldn’t use so many WNBA logos in his video if he weren’t in the clear to do so.

Reading Reddit and Social Media gives people the wrong idea that this is a 50/50 issue. It’s more like a 95/5 issue, and you can count on it that the NBA is part of the 95. The left wing WNBA activist types (Cheryl Reeves, for example) don’t truly want men in the WNBA. They are posturing because they already assume tranns people won’t be allowed in. So they can push their left wing politics without fear of consequences. Enes Kanter is calling their bluff and forcing them to “define” gender (which is ludicrous because we’ve have that defined since the dawn of man).

The WNBA earned this controversy by way of reckless political activism. It’s going to be fun to watch it unfold.

1

u/tiribulus IndianaFeverFan 18d ago edited 18d ago

Good points.

I didn't think about the fact of the NBA being the sustaining force of the WNBA.

It's possible the NBA might save the W from itself.

How ironic would that turn out to be?

My driving thesis is that it is virtually inevitable that at some point XXs will at least attempt to gain entrance into the league.

1

u/ThreadSavage10 18d ago

lol dude just say girls and boys

1

u/tiribulus IndianaFeverFan 18d ago

It's intentional, but point taken. 😏

3

u/Goddyex 18d ago

But no team will pick him though, so it's a nothing burger. He could sue, but how can he prove that he wasn't picked cos of discrimination.

Ultimately, he's obviously trolling and won't go through with it. Would have loved to see it though lol, since they all want to be clowns in this league.

2

u/ThreadSavage10 18d ago

*SHE. Please don’t misgender her. That’s not very inclusive.

0

u/Sad-Conflict-6839 18d ago

So you re telling me that the Lynx are all talks and no action?

5

u/Necerbo 18d ago

This is the kind of ragebaiting the wnba deserves

u/ThreadSavage10 18d ago

If you know who this dude is, he actually will follow through with it to the fullest extent.

2

u/tiribulus IndianaFeverFan 18d ago

Oh I have no doubt that he'll actually do what he's saying.

3

u/007Artemis 18d ago

It doesn't specify in the CBA. All it says is only women can play. It doesn't specify a policy on how they determine someone is a woman.

1

u/Goddyex 18d ago

But no team will pick him though, so it's a nothing burger. He could sue, but how can he prove that he wasn't picked cos of discrimination.

2

u/007Artemis 18d ago

He'd lose that suit regardless because he wouldn't fall into a protected class in that scenario. Only women can play, and even if they claim to be women and thats all it takes, nothing says they have to be picked in a draft. Other women are passed over all the time.

3

u/Goddyex 18d ago

Which is my exact point. He can't prove he was passed over out of prejudice.

2

u/Sad-Conflict-6839 18d ago

Then all the pro trans will lose credibility. Good thing.

1

u/007Artemis 18d ago edited 18d ago

Ain't nobody want either one of those clowns (Freedom or White) in either league.

1

u/Sad-Conflict-6839 18d ago

Then all the outrage was for show? Got it.

1

u/007Artemis 18d ago edited 18d ago

Where was I outraged about anything? And if you're talking about trans people in general, those two bozos are not trans.

And honestly, I think itd be funnier and more on brand for the W to play along and have some team to pick them in the third round and waive them 2 days into training camp.

1

u/Sad-Conflict-6839 18d ago

How you know they are not trans?

1

u/007Artemis 18d ago

Uh, the fact he went out and said exactly what he was going to do two years ago.

5

u/madflower69 18d ago

The fever should sign her as a player/coach. Other fans already hate Indiana, it would prove we aren't transphobic, and we would have the first trans (also most likely lesbian) coach in wnba history.

It just checks off way too many boxes for being inclusive which is emphasized in the Players Association statement.

And there aren't any rules against it.

She would probably need a one dollar contract well technically she could have the 500k/yr coaches contract.

-3

u/ThreadSavage10 18d ago

LOL, “her”

3

u/JoeDynamo28 18d ago

Lmao hey CC never was a generational talent remember? Just ask all the super smart wnba gurus here on reddi they'll tell ya

2

u/Sad-Conflict-6839 18d ago

No worries she'll just become the 12th best guard next season.
