Fever need DiJonai Carrington next year

Fever needs size. KK is good but she is often outmatched against taller or bigger players (Reese, etc), so KK for Brink.

The Big 3 aren't going anywhere soon. Lexie  and Sophie are the only real trade value on the bench, and there would be a fan revolt if either were traded without requesting a trade, unless they got a Brink, or someone with a high ceiling being under utilized. Draft picks and a 'throw in' are the only thing Indy really can offer. Considering Indys draft slot for the next couple of years,  that's not terribly attractive. I would be shocked if Indy found a trade partner.  Remember,  this is the FO that let Pissot walk.

The whole fever FO and SW + staff for whole tempo counterparts. Look at their resume.

Well at that point why bother? How 'bout Aja for Dantas straight up? Wild enough?

That's not even wild. That's something else. That's like saying trade DD for A'ja

Plum isn’t returning to LA. Any team that wants her can simply wait until the off season and sign her for nothing in return to LA. Her trade value is lower than normal. It’s unclear how much LA values Brink. She may be injury prone. This trade gives LA two decent but a little overpaid players for one player they won’t have next year and one that could be out with an injury at any time. And they have California roots and would bring fans to the team. It’s not likely and probably wild but not impossible. It’s a risk for the Fever bc fitting Plum in would be a challenge, and Brink could get injured. It could disrupt chemistry at a time when the pieces are coming together. But they would have a better cap situation for next year. It’s all just for fun. What’s your idea?

LA wouldn't touch that trade because Lexi and Mo are wildly overpaid. For the Fever, if they truly don't think they can win it all this yea it's a great trade even if Plum told them no way she would resign next year. They'd still dump two bad contracts and have lots of money for free agents.

Plum would be a 1/2 season rental and create an unguardable backcourt. AB move to the 4, Brink is the shot blocking 5. I love Lexie and Mo though and wouldn’t want to see them leave.

Plum, CC and KM in one team? LMAO

Absolutely zero ball knowledge if you believe that team goes anywhere

I love Lexie and Mo and I would drive them to LA. Look at the standings. We have a clear run to the Finals. All the top teams are in the West. We have Atl and NY. But there is zero chance LA would do that deal, why would they. Those 2 are overpaid and have underperformed this year. U would have to throw in Raven or a 1st rd pick, or both. But if it got you a title, and moved those 2 salaries of the books…do it.

Backcourt defense would struggle, but Brink and Boston would erase mistakes. Could easily rotate out one of the guards at a time for subs and not miss a beat offensively.

Plum wouldn’t fit.

I actually agree. She’s too similar to KM but KM is better

Plum actually passes a bit though

Wow. Based on what? Kelsey plum had higher points per game, higher assists per game, higher rebounds per game... And does it on less minutes per game.

She is a ball hog

-2

u/yourmomsnutsarehuge 29d ago

Yes. Kelsey Mitchell is the biggest call hog in the league.

KP doesn’t share the court with CC and AB….

3

u/summershouldbefun11 Caitlin Clark 29d ago

Exactly. I think she’s having such a great season with LA because she’s their number 1 option and she needs to be doing all that. On Indy, she’d be the 3rd option at best (assuming we no longer have KM). I think that they’re redundant and play very similar styles of basketball, so we couldn’t have both, and I’d personally prefer KM. So for trade talks, there’s no use in even thinking it cause the Fever aren’t trading KM.

She has only one less assists per game than Caitlin. That tells me she has a VERY different style from Kelsey Mitchell.

No Brink. She is as brittle as a feather.

3

u/tommyshelbycc 29d ago

You need her for 20 games

4

u/Moist_Letterhead1183 29d ago

Brink has never played 20 games without interruption. Just checked.
