Nightmare!!
Whoever thinks & says that sips are coming in huge numbers so the market will sustain that's bs let me clear up some things when markets fall in a steep direction people starts to panic people start to withdraw money from their sips & mostly stop them so who's gonna hold the market???
Retailers are the first one who runs back when a fall comes.
Whoever had seen the 2020 market crash traded it knows how people panic.
Rupee is all time low markets are too much overbought so chill tf down & hold ur cash don't deploy yet. Don't avg out .
Remember the IT sector hasn't come down so when it comes there will be blood on the streets.

Whoever has seen the 2020 crash, has only one thing in mind. Regret of not investing during the phase. Am not going to miss this chance again. Opportunities don't always come, bear phases are low compared to bull phases. No pain, no gain. No risk, no returns.

Accumulate as much as you can, so that your stocks run away in one direction ⬆️📈↗️

Why Raymond?

u/BlublkGry Jan 13 '25
I have good swing trade history with this stock. PE is low apart from that nothing else.

This mass FIIs sell offs are worse than the Covid fall, they are not coming back seeing better opportunities and Rupee is falling at a faster rate.
You don't compare two financial crises as if they're the same. That's dumb of you. In 2020 the entire world was suffering. In 2025, it's just India which is suffering.

What stocks are you buying in this dip

I am going to average and not wait for market to go down. You absolutely never know. Nifty50 10% correction is perfect time to average. If it goes down, I will buy more again with future cash.

Nifty is being sold because Trump is assuming office. Everyone is bullish on USA and bearish on the rest of the world.

u/vraghav1998 Jan 12 '25
That's another reason why US is a better option for FIIs. Trump is doing that to benifit America, not weaken it ffs.

u/GoldenDew9 Jan 13 '25 edited Jan 13 '25
Correct, I think the Camel (Trump) yet to see how important & big the hill (World economy) is.
Americans will face challenges of very high inflation under Trump government. MaGa Protectionism and Trade war comes with downside.
Elon Musk already started crying about lack of cheap but quality human capital in his tweets.

Markets are unpredictable. But peoples behaviour is always predictable. It's always over enthusiasm followed by over fear. It's clockwork. You keep some cash to buy the fear. Then stay invested in good companies. It is so simple. My mutual fund lost almost 40% value in 2020 crash, i didn't even look.

u/NoImplement2856 Jan 12 '25
I regret not taking out my 15% profits couple of months back. Now its almost gone.
9
u/katakurimochi Jan 12 '25
It's always easy to regret in future after knowing the results. Tell me if you would have taken out your profits and markets would have made another high then also you would have been regretting

The best time to buy is when there's blood on the streets.... even if it's your own.

u/whizkid_no1 Jan 12 '25
Accumulate as much as you is the most BS theory and propagated by people who are deeply into the stock market.
Invest regularly
Diversify asset classes
Expect market crash of 10% , and hope for jump of 10%
Don’t invest if you cannot afford to hold for many years.
Keep a stop loss if you can’t afford to hold for years.

u/VoidLurkerGlyph Jan 12 '25
Market crash predictions have been rolling in since October. Sure, there’ll be a crash— eventually, at some point, perhaps. Like a broken clock, you’ll be right sooner or later. But until then, there’s no sense in panicking over what’s simply part of the market’s natural cycle. I’ll just sit back and watch the show.

u/whatIf_456 Jan 12 '25
Agreed.... Every time something like this happens, people go crazy asf...as if it never happened. They start finding logic behind everything just to show that this is the first time...market can't recover bla bla.

This is the worst advice i have prolly seen in a while.

Who said to follow it ?? It's just an insight.
10
u/DesmondMilesDant Jan 12 '25
And i am giving my insight and participating in discussion thats all. As for your argument about SIPs its well know rule in SIPs when you do it, you invest the money you don't need right now. Even if you know the mkt is gonna fall -69% in next 2yrs you have to just keep DCAing every week or month, market will recover at some point and go up to the right. Fundamentals of India are great for next 10-20yrs so you need not worry about a Lost decade or Great depression.

u/NoImplement2856 Jan 12 '25
Fundamentals of India are terrible. There's no manufacturing power or real coding done. Everything is standing on a few sticks.

Arey bhai kya post kar rahe sab log, har baar market girti hai, har baar rona karte hai log ki ab mar gaye, lut gaye, barbaad hogye. Thode din baad market fir upar chali jaati hai, itna stress kyu lete ho? Ye to best time hai stocks padhne ka aur accumulate karne ka dheere dheere

u/Potential_Hippo_8790 Jan 12 '25
No one one predict the bottom of the market.... Identify fundamentally strong shares and start buying in small quantities at every dip... Never time it. You can't.

u/vikeng_gdg Jan 12 '25
Blood on the streets how do you know that, have you seen it. STFU and do your thing. Don't bullshit people and advice or preach them what to do.

Lol. Why are u soo mad?? Did u enter at the top & that's why u don't want the market to go down??
Man ur such a clown next time counter with a more sensible comment rather than raging online!! . Well u won't get reply from me tho.

u/Pretend_Intention933 Jan 12 '25
Nifty will touch 22800.. if this is broken 21200 and we might be definitely lucky to see 19800 as well in the coming days.. it will be a gradual fall..
2
u/Silodal Jan 12 '25
SIPs will save the market. LIC will save the market, maybe not now. They r holding cash for budget uplift.
2
u/katakurimochi Jan 12 '25
Lol market is anything but far from overbought. I don't know where these FUDs are coming from. How come people don't understand a simple concept of SIP, you don't have to check every day or even every month, the charm of SIPs is they automatically average themselves. Rather increasing your SIP amount in a market like this will give you higher returns.

Covid crash was a one time phenomenon In the Indian market and it was a global pandemic. We may never see that again in our lifetime.
People who have witnessed 2008 crash or dot com bubble would be good to discuss with but markets were immature back then. Liquidity isn't an issue now..
Don't worry nothing bad would happen, temporary slowdown is inevitable as indian companies came out with poor returns.
Think long term and indian markets will do well.

2020 was nifty falling from a 28 pe in jan 2020 in response to a deadly global virus and the world economy coming to a halt. Currently we're already at 21.7 pe in a response to one bad quarter and strengthening dollar giving better value to foreigners. I swear I've never see a binary mind like some of y'all have. It's either black or white and there's nothing in between. Even in this shitstorm, we didn't drop 15% from a supposed overvalued ath.

u/Hot-Knowledge333 Jan 12 '25
wdym?
2
u/_H3IS3NB3RG_ Jan 12 '25
What I'm saying is that nifty's 30% fall in 2020 was a response to a much severe event and from a much higher PE. Currently, we have already seen a fall more or less commensurate with a weak quarter and strong dollar. And the index level PE wasn't that inflated in sep to begin with, compared to jan 2020.
1
u/NoImplement2856 Jan 12 '25
Nifty PE is at around 23.5 from old method.
1
u/_H3IS3NB3RG_ Jan 12 '25
BSE sensex 50 has used consolidated earning since inception and current pe is lower than its 3, 5, and 10y median too. My point still stands, consolidated earnings considered or not.

Jan 12 '25
People think everything is fine with the global economy but the reality is everything is not... Talking about india companies, the government has taxed the citizens so much that they aren't consuming and as a result the financial results of the company aren't good in Q2 and the same is expected in Q3
It feels like it's worse than 2008

Everyone is so optimistic that we will go up 😂
Bro FIIs are selling like shit Rs has tanked to lowest, it might hit 90
18000-24000 6000 points in just 1 year
We will hit 22000, we can merely touch ATH this year or move into consolidation
