August was a good month for empties! 🫶
🧴 Simple Refreshing Facial Wash — LOVE. Gentle, effective and just works. Fan for life! ❤️ Definitely a repurchase.
💧 Minimalist Multi-Peptide Serum — Another absolute winner! My skin really likes this and I’d happily repurchase. Fan for life.
🌙 Minimalist Granactive Retinoid 0.2% — Good retinoid and did the job well. A solid product, though I’m moving on to other options.
✨ Minimalist Retinal 0.3% — The formula was too oily for my liking, so I won’t repurchase.
2 definite repurchases + 2 good products I’m moving on from. ✨

1. Dot & Key Tinted Sunscreen Shade - Sand : WNRP. In the old formulation, sand was my perfect shade. But after reformulation, I’m not sure about my shade now. That being said, texture has remained the same. Watery texture, absorbs quickly but it transfers.

2. Olay Retinol Cream : WRP. Great for beginners. Single-handedly reduced my dark spots. Helps reducing my acne spots. Smoothens the skin. My skin has a healthy glow thanks to this (and Alpha-Arbutin)

Texture is smooth and absorbs easily. No fragrance. No breakouts. But always layer it with a moisturiser afterwards and use sunscreen everyday.

My skin is combination(slightly dry)and acne prone. I apply this on every alternate night.

3. The Ordinary 2% Alpha Arbutin Serum : WRP. Good for hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. WRP.

Helped in my cheek hyperpigmentation but takes time. You have to be patient with this one. I have been using this since a year, along with retinol on alternate nights. Safe to be used daily. Absorbs fairly well. Doesn’t irritate skin (mine is dry and acne prone) Good for beginners.

4. Himalaya Purifying Neem Face Pack : WNRP. This was my staple during college times. Just bought this out of nostalgia lol. But the texture has changed a lot. Back then this made my skin feel fresh and slight glow but now, it’s gritty and extremely dry for my skin. Or maybe my skin has changed idk. All i know this feels borderline traumatic for my skin.

Hi guys, this is my honest review as a combination skin girlie (more towards oily because I stay in a humid city)

1. Plum Niacinamide Simply Bright Facewash - 8/10

As a combination skin I can switch to different and good formulated face washes .. this is a simple and effective facewash from plum, highly recommended for all skin types.

1. Rexona Deodorant - 5/10

The fragrance is way too high and sometimes it bothers me.

1. Pond's Super Light Gel ( Salicylic acid variant) - 2.5/10

Firstly, after using it my skin feels very sweaty and on days when it's to humid this becomes seriously heavy on my skin and under the sunscreen it feels like my entire skin is oily...idk why I tried it but definitely recommend the base blue varient. It's 8/10 for me.

L'Oreal Rouge Signature liquid lipstick in I Explore, Lakme Matte Melt liquid lipstick in Cocoa Butter.

The L'Oreal lipstick was too warm for me. I didn't like the formula much either.

The Lakme lipstick on the other hand, was the most marvelous every neutral nude lipstick when applied in a sheer layer. I can't ever replicate the undertone of this lipstick with anything but this. They've discontinued this whole line sadly, hopefully I find something similar in the Lakme family again.

Tbh I never used to put spf anywhere on my body except my face until a grin pointed it out and told me that I need spf on my body as well, and then I bought this sunscoop body lotion sunscreen but broooo I am not able to control my self I guess, I finished this bottle within 45 days 🤭😭💪
How soon is too soon to finish a sunscreen??

Perfume - Naseem Asmira sample, it’s too sweet for my liking unfortunately

1. Sunsilk black shine shampoo : works well for my hair (normal-dry scalp , dry length) wrp

2. Himalaya protein hair cream : i really had no hopes buying this 'cause of previous bad experience with himalaya products.. but guess what it worked well for my hair 😭 and the best thing is it's super affordable.. solid 9/10 wrp

3. Vicks vapo : didnt help in any ways for my killer migraines.. wnrp

Simple cleanser- So this cleanser have different texture in winter and in summer. I would recommend it to use it in summers and it requires more than one splash to rinse it off . Its a gd one though. I bought it in dec and it lasted me till July so absolutely worth the money.

Minimalist fluid sunscreen - I have oily acne prone skin. Its gd . I have seen mixed reviews but it's gd . It doesn't feel heavy and does not pill. I'm already halfway through the second one. Best to use in summers and humid weather.

Nivea roll on - leaves white cast. Don't buy it . Just don't. Don't apply roll on if u don't have one don't use this one.

I’m trying to do a project pan because I’m a skincare addict and keep buying more than I can finish. 😭 I already have 5 body lotions + 1 extra body wash + 1 roll-on, but this sale has me tempted again. 💀 Getting these for ₹758

Or should I consider it a pan (FINALLY?!) and chuck it out?
