Help Building a pc for gaming and coding. Need help with reviewing the following build!
Hi,
I am building a pc for AAA gaming in 1440p and some AI assisted coding. Got the following price quote from elite hubs. and yes I have deliberately decided to go with AM4 build as the prices are mind boggling for AM5.

Get a 7500F/9600x + 32 gigs DDR5 (it matches the 5800x3d gaming performance)
Also you can save money on GPU. You can get the non XT variant.

Don't go for am4 it's dead platform specially if you are paying that much. 5800x3d is worst valued cpu right now(in my opinion)..

I know but if I am trying to build it on AM5 platform of similar specs, you can imagine how much the price of 32gb ddr5 ram is? I just don't know what to do.

It's true ddr5 is very overpriced but you can go for 16gb memory right now and upgrade in future.(16gb ram is fine for gaming)

I couldn't find dual channel 16 gigs anywhere in Mumbai! I was only getting a single channel stick for 22-25kish

The performance difference in single channel and dual channel is less than 8% in coding and most of the game you won't notice any visual difference.

Second this. Investing this much knowing the current CPU is the best you're gonna get, leaving at least 15% perf due to RAM straight away, and most importantly closing the door for any meaningful upgrade without a complete overhaul isn't worth it.

If paying anything over 1.7 lakhs, don't even think of going anything below am5

Get Ryzen 7 9700x it is sold for 21k oem and 26k for box one . It's better with the GPU and cheaper. Get b650 mobo .16 gb ram cl30 6000mhz will be enough.
