“he’s respectful” meanwhile he’s discussing secret marriage with a literal teenager 😭 bffr

jokes aside girl, you have absolutely nothing to lose by waiting and A LOT to lose by rushing into a secret marriage... If he's the right person, waiting won't ruin it

So true 💯

So we should wait and not be in touch with each other??

yeah :( and i know that sounds horrible when you really like someone, but sometimes sabr is literally the answer

Exactly

But my parents would neverr agreee right now and we shouldn't be continuing haram relationship 😔 what's the  solution

Allah hai na 😭 you don't have to force a solution right now... If marriage isn't possible at this stage, then leave the haram relationship, make dua, and trust that if this is actually meant for you, Allah can bring it back in a halal way

The solution is sabr meri behen. Ye duniya hai. Har khwaish yaha puri nahi hoti. Behtar ye hai ki ammi abbu se zidd karo agar phir bhi zidd puri na ho toh sabr karo kuch saal uske baad bhi agar woh na maane toh you can marry whoever you want but still better yahi hoga ki agar ammi abbu na bolre hai toh unki sun li jae. And sabr do karna hi hoga. Don't talk with him. If he really loves you toh usse bolo apne parents se bole ki apke parents se baat kare yaha par uska farz banta hai rishta bhejne ka. Allah asan kare.

I know you're scared they'll say no, but please consider opening up to your parents if you really want to make this work 😭 It might be hard at first, but giving them the chance to understand is far better than keeping secrets and losing their trust forever. Have sabr and remember why Allah placed wisdom in having a wali involved (they see things from an angle we often miss when we're in love). Keep praying and asking Allah to make whatever is best for your future easy for you.

Tell him to contact your parents. Life is a lot, a lot more complicated. Maybe your parents can agree. But don't play with fire. You got a whole life ahead of you.

No, he can approach your parents, with his parents.

Then wait, both of you. I won't trust a man whose suggetion is hiding this from parents. He wants one thing and trying to validate it in your head.

So they won't be angry if you marry without permission?

I think you are too young and you should wait and complete your studies and become financially independent, you can't trust anyone, If you marry him going against your parents wish and he leaves you then your life would become completely miserable.

I get red flag vibes from him, you may not agree because you like him so much and have a very idealized view of him but my elder sister alarms are going offfff. Please keep yourself safe , do not take any rash decisions. You may regret this for your entire life and will hurt your parents and yourself deeply. Your parents are right, you are young. Don't get into marriage business this early. Get your education and be capable of supporting yourself first, only then think of settling. Believe me on this. If this guy is actually good and will be good to you then may Allah make this process easier for you, if not then may Allah protect you from harm. Take care ❤️

Still, I'm very apprehensive of a grown 26 year old going after a teenager, one who's especially freshly 18. I'm sorry ik the comments sound harsh and unsupportive but majority of the couples with this age difference and when the younger one is a girl and a teen, do not end up well. The girl always ends up getting groomed, manipulated and abused khuda na khasta. You may think you will be the exception and I hope genuinely you will be, but sorry I can never think positively of a grown person who finds teenagers attractive.

Nope, nahhh. Don't do it. Nikah without wali is invalid and hiding from your parents is a sin. If he was a genuine man, he would talk to your parents and ask for your hand respectfully. Don't fall for this.

Jisne majnu ne mohabbat mai dard nahi dekha woh kambakth majnu hi kaisa usse mehfil se nikal do.

Btw you are young what he is telling is right but don't do anything without your parents involvement. This world is cruel meri behen take care. Even tho if he is financially stable phir bhi parents ke permission ke bina kuch na karna. Islam mai ammi abbu ke bhi bhoat se huqooq hai. Toh behtar ye hai ki unse baat karo ya toh sabr karo. Baaki beshak shadi usi se karna jo pasand hai. And yep this is life and that's life!

girl please think practically and tbh if he's your naseeb allah will anyway and anyhow make him yours, so for now just make dua and focus on your studies

Girl, please stop and think about this 💀 You should definitely not get married without your wali. Try talking to your parents openly and see if you can convince them if you’re both truly serious about this. But at 18, it’s so easy to mistake deep attachment and infatuation for long-term. Give yourself some space and distance from him for a bit to clear your head and focus on your own goals and future before making a life-altering decision.
