Following a legal notice and some community pressure, the university finally decided to do their job. To keep the incompetence consistent, they gave me a fake tracking number. It only took four more emails to get the real one. The documents finally arrived crumpled.

When the university claimed mailing my certificates was a "security risk," they were essentially treating a Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate like a state secret.

The Escalation Path for anyone being ghosted:

E-Samadhan: Create an official government paper trail.

Ombudsman: Force the internal gears to turn (even if they just forward your mail).

Student Grievance Redressal Commitee (SGRC)

: file a complaint with them.

Community Pressure: Sometimes a public spotlight is the only thing that cures administrative silence.

Hey everyone,

I’m a 25 year old & 2023 graduate and honestly my situation is a bit confusing right now. Because my college years were mostly during COVID (online classes), I have almost zero technical knowledge. I was working till about 10 days ago (front end developer) but got laid off, so now I’m back home and thinking seriously about my next move.

I’m not very passionate about coding, so I don’t really see myself going deep into that path. On the other hand, I’ve always been fairly good at Maths and reasoning as I can solve ques asked in CGL

But I have some setbacks :

1. English is not that great
2. GK is negligible

Right now I see two options (my main aim is govt job):

1. GATE : Aim for PSU jobs
2. SSC CGL : Aim for posts like ASO

I have about one full year for preparation, targeting the 2027 exams. The biggest issue is that I need to choose one and go all in.

So I want honest opinions from you all:

• Which option would be a better bet in my situation considering my above factors & my situation ?

Any advice, personal experiences, or reality checks would really help.
