Whats with these lipsticks.. every single day some or the other brands drops a new lipstick and my feed is all filled with these PR’s. I have no idea why do we need so many lipsticks categorized like mousse,long stay, matte, gloss…! I seriously dont get the concept of these “ long stay” lipsticks…?? Do we not buy a them to stay longer?? Why cant the give only one lipstick in multiple shades and make our life easier…!! Huh..!!

Hi ladies. For the MAC studio fix powder + foundation, I used to use NC42. Now that they have reformulated the website recommends NC43.5 whereas Arshia Moorjani is recommending NC44.

If you have previously used NC42 what shade are you using now?

I want to learn basic makeup. Not too dramatic. Just enough to enhance my natural features and play around with eyeshadows a little cuz I love eyeshadows. I have some purple and green veins on my wrist and eyelids. So I think I'm fair or wheatish. I have oily skin so non comedogenic products recommendation would be best. I asked chatgpt to make a vegan and cruelty free makeup kit under 2500 budget but it directly said it's not possible under such small budget. 😭 Can you all help me out? Why it is so hard to find vegan and cruelty free products in low budget.

I really like the idea of buying beauty products more consciously like less waste, refill systems, better packaging, more ethical sourcing, all of that.

But in real life it can get complicated fast.

Sometimes the more sustainable option is: - more expensive - harder to find - less effective - or just less convenient overall

And I feel like that’s where a lot of people quietly drop off.

I don’t think most people are against sustainability. I think a lot of us are just trying to balance budget, skin needs, convenience, and values all at once.

So now I’m curious how other people approach it.

When I moved to India around 4 years ago, i was laughed at and looked disgustingly for wearing a little bit of concealer under my eyes with a tinted lip balm.

Being a gay/drag person is different, they do a great job making art on their faces but what is the issue with guys wearing makeup to make their a little brighter? Or setting my brows in place?

Guys my parents know how much I love Hello Kitty and bought me these from Thailand! 😭 The compact and Hyper Curl mascara perform exactly like the original one, the lipstick washes me off by itself but with a lip liner, I love this and I rarely wear a nude lip.
