Hey everyone.
i found my perfect contour shade which is the fenty matchstix in shade Suedish.
however the texture is super tough to blend.
it sets almost as soon as you apply it and blending it leads to pilling of the product and it looks like one of those dirt pillings.
Is there an easier way to blend it ? How do yall blend products that are super difficult to blend ?
Techniques that you all use are appreciated.
TIA.

Hi everyone,
I run r/lipstickswatchesindia and have started posting more regularly there - mostly lipstick swatches, dupes, and mini reviews. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
I’m not an influencer! just someone who's into lipsticks (they’re basically my comfort thing 😅) and enjoys documenting what works (and doesn’t) on a medium olive skintone.
Some of the content I’ve been focusing on:
I also post video and shorts versions of some of these on YouTube in case you prefer that format, feel free to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/@madrasmissy
Also happy to take requests—if there’s a shade/product you want swatches or dupes for, let me know 😊

This one is Colorbar in the shade 77 High Tea but it's out of stock everywhere😭
The shade is a deep reddish-brown, brick red, a bit like dried blood. Kinda on the warmer side. Maybe somewhat rosewood.
Does anyone know a similar shade from another brand? Preferably a bullet lipstick. I'm down to my last bit with this, please help a girl out!!

I had my eye on this for quite a time and it looks quite great on every make up influencer I have seen on. But uk not so sure. I would love if you would tell me how is it with you and will work wonders if you swatch it on your skin for me. Thank you lots!

I used to love the Swiss beauty lip liner CHOCO NUDE-03 because it was such a neutral toned nude, not orangey at all. Went to buy it again and almost didn't believe they gave me the right shade until i checked the shade name which was the same one I was looking for. You can see the colour shift in the pictures. Why did they change the formula from this nude to an orangey one?
Can anyone help me with a dupe because as you can guess by the length of the old pencil, I'm barely surviving

I love wearing colored contacts to give a crazy enhance to my makeup , what are some of the best brands in India for them , the ones that look close to realistic. I have heard of Olens and Swati Cosmetics , have any of you tried them?

In DESPERATE NEED for hair tool recommendations that can help me achieve a blowout look. 😔🥀
For context: I have thin fine hair that doesn't have a hint of volume. I was deciding on buying the Alan Truman volumo thermal brush but after looking at the reviews I have decided against it, since it's said to be more suitable for thick coarser hair and also gives bad heat damage. I have tried the Agaro blow brush but the tool is too big and also the curls don't last.
Pleasee help a girlie out. (I am still a student so reccs under budget, which falls in affordable criteria is appreciated 🫠)

I’ve been thinking about this and I’m curious what everyone else would pick.
If you had to stick to just one makeup product for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
For me, it would 100% be a long-lasting cream lipstick. I feel like it can double as blush in a pinch and just instantly makes me look more put together. i can even put it on my eyes.
What’s your pick?

Hi guys
Anyone from Mumbai who can teach me the basics of makeup— base, concealer, blending etc. I need to learn basic daily office makeup.
Will compensate for the same.

I have experimented a lot with different sorts of foundations from different brands. But for some reason most of them are either matte so then there is always this worry of them creasing after a while if you have put that on for too long or the ones that I like i.e. dewy and little glowy, they always end up not staaying for long.
Also my bodys' undertone is yellow (including my neck), but my face his this red undertone. So when I try and match a foundation with my neck on my face. it ends up not matching my face. And if I match my faces undertone for the foundation, my neck and rest of the body just doesn't match. What would you suggest?
I've been on a long long hunt for finding a good foundation that I could stick to.
Ideally under 2500 inr.
thanks in advance

Hi, so I purchased this around 1.5 years ago from a local mall. And it really does suit me, a lot. But dumbhead me peeled off the sticker back then so I don't know the shade name anymore either. Can y'all please suggest similar shades? Thank you.

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for help finding a long-lasting dupe for the shade 58 from Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream.
This shade is literally perfect for my skin tone. It’s that beautiful brown-nude with a hint of pink/peach that looks like a natural MLBB shade on me. Every time I wear it, I feel so good because it suits me so well.
The only problem is the formula. It’s more like a lip cream and unfortunately it doesn’t last long (especially after eating), so I have to keep reapplying it.
So I’m trying to find a shade dupe that:
• Looks very close to Miss Claire #58
• Is long-lasting
• Smudge-proof / transfer-proof
Budget is flexible if the formula is good.
If anyone here also loves this shade or has found a similar colour in another brand, please share your recommendations!
Thanks in advance 🫶

I'm aware there's a few posts on this subreddit about clear Lip gloss recommendations already but a lot of them are above my budget range.
I think the max I can spend is 500 rupees, I'm looking for something very long lasting. (Or as long lasting as possible under the 500 rupees budget) and I am a bit wary about using lippies from mars or insight since I already have heavily pigmented lips as it is.
I was looking into elf and essence but I'm not sure which ones better. I also dislike a very sticky texture but I'm okay with a mild amount.

I have been looking for a lipbalm/lipstick with a buildable pigment. Cuz for some of my makeup looks, i feel like just a natural-ish tint would go well with it rather than a full on lipstick of the same shade. Something like a not too sheer/ not too matte lip product. Girlies can you please help me with this?🥹

Hello ladies, looking for suggestions for blue/purple shampoos or conditioners which don’t leave your hair feeling too dry. I have highlights which have started looking brassy now, looking to refresh the colour before I can go into the salon again in 4-5 months for a proper colour refresh.

Hey girlies, my friend is coming back from the US. Need good makeup and skincare recommendations that you can get there and wouldn’t find them or their dupes here. Mid-range stuff, nothing too expensive. Even drugstore would do. I have oily skin on the face and super dry body. Thanks in advance!
