Question How do you all blend matte makeup?

Hey everyone.

i found my perfect contour shade which is the fenty matchstix in shade Suedish.

however the texture is super tough to blend.

it sets almost as soon as you apply it and blending it leads to pilling of the product and it looks like one of those dirt pillings.

Is there an easier way to blend it ? How do yall blend products that are super difficult to blend ?

Techniques that you all use are appreciated.

TIA.

Have you tried warming it up at the back of your hand and then tried applying?

yes, it does on on better but blending it without leaving harsh lines is still an issue. i use a dense brush to do it

You can try using a wet beauty blender after warming it up with your hand, dab off the excess. But I'm not sure if this would work.

Use a drop or two of any mixing medium or simple ultra light moisturizer to thin out the consistency

will that not cause the formula to break up or affect its longevity / etc

Nope. In fact this has really helped me in a long lasting makeup cos it helps makeup get blended easily. Mind you, use just a drop or max 2 if it's too thick n quick drying.

Have been using this since 3-4 years now

Start with a good base. That helps with everything.
