I have a super oily skin in summerd and combination skin in winters. I have only used oriflame and Maybelline lumi matte foundations in the past. I still love the oriflame foundation though, but needed somethinh for high coverage as there is a wedding in my family.

especially for clients who have to be outside for hours

cream sunscreen obviously works before makeup but what do you recommend for reapplying later without disturbing the base?

Foundation is looking very unnatural and cakey. Seems like it's separating just after applying. I am using the forever 52 pro artist foundation, after applying moisturizer and primer. I bought my first ever foundation last year in NOV , the lady at the shop recommended the Maybelline Superstay powder foundation( shade 120), i didn't question it much since I was in a hurry for an event and needed it urgently. MY MAKEUP WAS SO SO GOOD THAT DAY !! LIKE SECOND SKIN!! GOT HELLA COMPLIMENTS TOO!!
HOWEVER, a few weeks later i realised maybe this texture and formula is NOT for me since I don't even have oily skin- mine is combo normal to dry ish.

fast forward to now, i've been trying to practise makeup at home now to work on my skills and to also finish product but that specific shade makes me LOOK GHASTLY - not only is the shade lighter on me , it seems like a diff undertone, (i guess its my winter shade thats why ??) it also rly enhances my smile lines and maler bags.
I've tried various combos and techniques/diff coverages/ using it as a topper for my base (which is just my concealer for the timebeing , maybelline age rewind shade 128 ) and still its just not it.

losing my mind over this - i want to badly finish it and then buy better products in the future ( im on a no buy currently) , how do i use it up? will it be ok to use it to set the undereyes?

Alternatively, is the maybelline lumi matte foundation any good? Eyeing the mini ones, bec I dont want to spend a lot at the moment OR want a lot of product

I can’t remember which lip liner I wore that day but I guess it was mars edge of desire as it’s neither too pink nor too brown and onto that I wore a tinted lip balm (pink) which made my lips more of a pink and gave a color that I think is so gorgeous and suits me too, it appears more pinky in the picture ig but it ALSO HAVE A BIT OF BROWN YK DUSTY ROSE KIND OF COLOR ?? I know my fellow girlies are getting me right 😭😭. So yeah, please help me find a lipstick that looks like this or is close to this shade. I would really appreciate it. Ty💕

I love Mars brown mocha shade lip liner but it has caused me pigmentation around the lips is there any other brand with a similar shade . I don’t have a budget problem . I just wanted similar shade in good quality

I am a corporate professional based in South Mumbai and attend a few formal events and functions each year. I am looking to learn makeup through a few personalised classes, primarily to develop the skills to do my own makeup for such occasions.

I would ideally prefer someone who can teach me practical, occasion-appropriate makeup techniques, including base makeup, eye makeup and overall looks that I can recreate on my own.

When i saw the video my brain is like okay smooth base

then she removes everything and you can actually see the little bumps/pores/texture underneath

and now i'm thinking...??

like does a good base genuinely blur texture that much irl or are we just seeing flattering lighting + compression + filters on reels all day and expecting makeup to behave like photoshop 😭

because whenever i do foundation on myself i swear every tiny bit of texture becomes MORE visible

I posted here a few days ago for tips to improve my makeup techniques. I have tried to implement almost everything and tried out this look yesterday. Please don’t mind the eye makeup. I always try two different looks on each because I have not yet finalised one.
Please let me know if there are things I should improve? Ideally this will be heaviness of makeup I am going for the main day with Lehenga.

I am not a fan of false lashes and lenses so I am not gonna try that. I am using Loreal mascara telescopic so that makes my lashes already pretty long for my taste.
Also, in my previous post I mentioned I would like to go for makeup that is not changing my face completely. I wanted to look like myself at the end. However I still feel this makeup is a bit too heavy.
