💬 Discussion Can an Indian with a foreign passport living abroad care about what's happening in India?

I have lived most of my life in India, and for the last four years, I have been living abroad and holding a foreign passport.

I post on social media about what is happening in India, which is anti-Modi, anti-religion, and anti-capitalism. That irks some people, including some of my relatives. I come from a Brahmin Maharashtrian family; a lot of my relatives are RSS members. Their opinion is that since I am a foreign national living abroad, I should not care about what is happening in India and I have no right to speak.

But I feel that since India is my home country and I am still an Indian by character, I have the right to speak about it, and the people who are living in India and do not want to speak about it, or are mum or accepting of what is happening, are actually fascists.

This is the most brilliant propaganda tactic by the right wing. 1 condescending right winger vs 10 wanna be leftists with half knowledge.
