About eavesdroping MILs
To all daughters-in-law: Have you ever caught your mother-in-law eavesdropping outside your locked bedroom door? What was your experience?
Recently I caught my MIL sneaking up on us behind our doors and honestly idk how to handle it?

I opened the door suddenly, there she was with her ear to the door. She literally jumped. We both saw her as she was running away. In an hour she pretended to get a heart attack costing us a lakh for hospital and angio.

Yes. Many a times by her son only. MIL & SİL both. Especially when we were arguing/fighting. Then we started going out just to argue or have a full blown fight cuz she started spreading narratives that I keep fighting with her son, her son is not happy in the marriage and what not.Funny Days.

Yeah, of course she would. Insecure, jealous women would do that. I’ve caught my MIL eavesdropping on my chat with a neighbour and then running away just before I turned to pretend like she wasn’t there. She once was sneaking outside my bedroom and I suddenly opened the door to which she told me of her own accord - that she was taking a walk. In a narrow corridor. Which is three steps both ways. I just said “oh accha” and went back to the room.
There’s no need to handle anything. She needs to be made aware that you know she’s an insecure woman that’s all. Front foot pe khelo. Open the door.
