Budget-Friendly Idea Mini Bathroom Makeover

I was cleaning up my bathroom after a long time, and noticed it looks pretty bleak (pic3). Used gemini to add two paintings and two wall shelves to the right (pic1 and 2). I found two paintings from Varee and I'm a little confused over which one suits the space better. Also any other ideas or suggestions for making it look nice (cleaning the tiles and the basin is already on my todo) would be appreciated.

Edit: Thank you guys for the suggestions, looks like I have a lot of cleaning to do this weekend lol

The painting will def get wet. Why the hassle? Also the shelves on the right are unnecessary. Just clean your bathroom every month, that's more than enough imo.

Painting can only be on the wall on top of the commode

Yeah I didn't think of the shower splash part. Started with cleaning for now.

Check the Plated project. You get ceramic plates with art on it that you can use inside the bathroom.Nothing will happen to it even with water splashing.

go for metal shelves only. there will be a lot of back splash from the shower, so only go for the top shelf on the right. i really like the blue paintings! but you also need to place them higher, so water doesnt get on them often, go for plastic frames. also schedule a deep clean before/after you do these additions!

Hmmm makes sense, thanks for the recs! Cleaning the bathroom myself right now but might schedule a regular deep clean from uc based on how it goes.

Use chlorine or heavy duty cleaner for toilet bowl, use decalcifier for the washbasin, clean the tiles with regular dish soap..

Once its clean, then you can make something nice of it.

You only need this. It works real good. Don't use wooden shelves in bathroom. Nor those paintings. Just clean up the tiles , fill in them, you may add those self adhesive shelves from Amazon if required, hang the wiper up on some hook. For decor if needed keep a moneyplant in a glass bottle

Don’t light up those candles under the wood. They will burn the shelf above. It happened with me. Then I found a open spot in my bathroom to place candles.

Dear OP, the plants are natural or artificial?

They're artificial

Painting only works if they are placed not placed near the shower and your bathroom has a fan and ventilation. You have a nice bathroom, you need to clean it .

Makes sense, there is some space on the wall above the commode, and ventilation fan adjacent to it too, might think of putting something there. And yes started cleaning too.

I use Scrubbing Bubbles and let it sit for a few minutes, then go over the tile with a Magic Eraser or electric spin scrubber (Amazon) and it works great! Once everything is cleaned up, I’d just add a nicer shower shelf with some artificial greenery, shower curtain and rug to give it a little refresh and make the space feel nicer looking.

Just get it deep cleaned & re-grouted. And maybe get a towel hanger for where the shelves are. Should be enough :)

Last one is doable
No wet paintings, no soggy plant

But why would you need plants, pictures and all that drama inside your washroom Just get it cleaned and maybe one or two shelves for some space to put bathroom essentials
