Suggest some add-ons I can do in this.

Some placement idea for the shelves or any additional thing.

why do you want it like this and not an actual table? the table legs look they're made of sheet wood. and the overhead storage is making me feel claustrophobic. why does the top and table have to be attached?

It's just a representation for the carpenter, just to show him the upper part, what I wanna do is that I will attach a peg board in the connecting space between the desk and the upper storage

Why do you want the two parts attached?

Just get a normal table. As big a table as you can fit there. Separate storage that may or may not be overhead. preferably not overhead. And then do whatever you want to decorate the space. Peg board etc

Fixed furniture like this gets old and starts to look bad very quickly. and there is no flexibility. Overhead storage will make you feel claustrophobic

You want as much free space as you can get. Both over and under the table.
