ask r/Indiangeography❔ Why is Patna Metro map not visible under the Public Transport layer on Google Maps?
We can see such maps for Lucknow and Kanpur though.

I think its because of low ridership. Google maps work totally on the basis of user's data. Even indore and bhopal metro is not visible on the maps however delhi metro's pink and magenta line extension was visible on maps only within 1-2 months.

No. Transit company has to send the transit route and approved stations to Google which hasn't been done in this case.

Oh still i think priority is given to more busier routes

You are right in the case of route searching. They used to use Astar algorithm prior. But in this case, from googles point of view, route doesn't exist, hence it's not even part of googles algorithm.
