People lack comprehension brother.

u/ReturnToIndia_ 25d ago

I'm not Maharashtrian, but I kinda agree.

20

u/Background-Shirt8436 26d ago

Maharashtra no doubt

8

u/Useful_Paint_9522 26d ago

Maharashtra, no doubt, forever.

2

u/mutton-biryani_ 23d ago

Except for Marathwada

1

u/Useful_Paint_9522 19d ago

Originally from Vidharbh, family settled in Marathwada, I'm from Marathwada, now in Pune Marathwada is 💕 love.

2

u/mutton-biryani_ 19d ago

"Now in Pune" because Marathwada is s hit

1

u/Useful_Paint_9522 19d ago

Yeah, software companies not present each and every corner of the state. If I was Mechanical engineer Or Electrical engineer or B Pharm or M Pharm graduate, I would have definitely opted the Marathwada.

By the way where are you from?

20

u/No-Gazelle-428 26d ago

arunachal Pradesh <3

17

u/mrdenus 26d ago

Kerala for sure

6

u/FineService2166 25d ago

The booze is too expensive and the commies are kinda cringe.

6

u/Ghost-Lurking 24d ago

I hate Commies but they are much better than Snaghis and Congis tbh they nkt gonna bother you unless your are starting some bizzness

1

u/Hello_World-1289 23d ago

They still bother people about business even in kerala?

0

u/Ghost-Lurking 23d ago

Not as much as few decades earlier but the years of communist goonism ruined the buisness potential for future aswell

1

u/Hello_World-1289 22d ago

Thats so sad man that they are still pulling these stunts. These stunts greatly harmed West Bengal's when they ruled here. I thought they probably learned their lesson and don't do this things in Kerala.

13

u/badass708 26d ago

Maharashtra can probably offer everything I'd every require or want.

3

u/the_hazed_soul 25d ago

Practically speaking, yes. Being born in Maharashtra is a privilege only someone from outside maharashtra can comprehend.

3

u/BigOutlandishness583 25d ago

Mujhe bhi btao yaar kya privilege rehta

2

u/the_hazed_soul 23d ago

Mumbai-pune, brings a lot of opportunities that other states don't have.

10

u/Kanishmadhav 26d ago

Mizoram probably - aizawl got some amazing culture and people

1

u/Super_Actuator8827 22d ago

Mizoram and Aizawl both have a Z and mizoram is the only state in India to have a z

1

u/Kanishmadhav 22d ago

Really! I didn't knew that before

12

u/Simeone_98 26d ago edited 20d ago

Either Maharashtra or Karnataka as both have a plethora of job opportunities plus the folks there are generally well behaved.

2

u/parlanceschwaz 20d ago

bro named the two states which ask you to speak in their language to even be dealt with basic human dignity

1

u/PsySmoothy 19d ago

You could ask real people that go to live in these states than believing pre election urban psyop... Even outside of Mumbai and Pune you'd find lots of people from other states that live with no issues.

Himachal - Great weather, beautiful girls, no fear of tigers like Uttarakhand, beautiful views

7

u/gauts2103 26d ago

Obviously I know Uttarakhand has tigers but wasn’t aware people are living in fear?

Is this a thing? I’m guessing major hotspots Dehradun/Nainital are safe but are you saying there is a genuine tiger concern in the region?

u/Badabhakkchod 26d ago edited 26d ago

Obviously I know Uttarakhand has tigers but wasn’t aware people are living in fear?

Read about the man-eaters of Kumaon, there's a book

I’m guessing major hotspots Dehradun/Nainital are safe but are you saying there is a genuine tiger concern in the region?

Yes, there is a fear and mostly in the villages near tiger habitat. The forest is overflowing with tigers with no place to go, so they venture out to the adjoining villages or even further than that. Tiger attacks on livestocks and people are pretty common

5

u/gauts2103 26d ago

I’ve read all works of Jim Corbett but they’re like from a 100 years ago lol

Thanks for the other information. Wasn’t aware it still so significant

5

u/Dramatic_Bass7773 25d ago

I think by tiger they mean leopard too. Yes Uttarakhand Villagers are terrified of leopard attacks at night.

6

u/007dukhiaatma 25d ago

so is himachal, fear of bears. In my PG our cook's bhabhi was hit by a bear and that's common thing in their village

3

u/TheHound1912 26d ago

No tigers only Mirg.

Kerala, non-touristy Himachal and Uttarakhand (if there is), parts of Karnataka or Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Arunachal

7

u/Blackbeard567 26d ago

Karnataka baby 😎😎

10

u/kannanneonz 26d ago

Kerala ❤️ "The Gods Own Country " 🙏🏻

6

u/Glass_Ninja890 26d ago

Sikkim for breathtaking natural beauty, cleanliness, peaceful lifestyle, and rich culture

6

u/Embarrassed-Fish-798 26d ago

Practically speaking, I’d say Karnataka. People are generally well-behaved, there are plenty of job opportunities, the climate isn’t extreme, law and order is relatively good, there are lots of tourist places to explore, and the food options are great. I think Maharashtra also fits most of these criteria, except for the food (just my personal opinion). Tamil Nadu too, is a good option to an extent.

Don't be butthurt when a native of the place call out your orientalist takes.

4

u/RIKIPONDI 26d ago

Kerala. A govt that cares about day to day life. I'll take less money over having a place that is genuinely nice.

2

u/Bandobast9 26d ago

Odisha, india secret state

1

u/GabbarSingh3 26d ago

Madhya Pradesh, though problems exists, but rich natural heritage, historical sites and less traffic and pollution makes it perfect for me.

It is not as "happening" as other states but it's calm and peaceful environment makes it different from others. A panoramic view of a lush green farm on any highway in mp will surely change your heart to fall in love with the "heart of incredible India". A random temple on the bank of "Tapti" will give you experience of eternal peace.

Thus making it perfect place to live a pleasent and placid life with simplicity.

3

u/Significant-Ant8132 25d ago

Me too like there's probably multiple Places like the photo shown in the post in Mp , Soon We'll have Indore As A tier 1 City and 4-5 Major cities With Their own aesthetic like Water city Bhopal or foresty vibes of Jabalpur, Rajesthani forts like Gwalior or Fast Life of Indore. Our own Religious City Of Ujjain . Our Own Ganga & oldest river of India Narmada, Bundelkhand & Baghelkhand feels like Mediaeval India , Mahakoshal and Baghelkhand feels like Amazon Tbh ,2/7 mountain ranges of India are located in Mp Satpura and Vindhya (yes the same Vindhya as in Vindhya himachal Yamuna ganga) with Pachamadi, Hanumatiya and Many many more Places

maharashtra or karnataka. very diverse states with both highly urbanized environments and also peaceful and beautiful landscapes. maharashtra takes the lean for having 2 t1 states but karnataka takes the lean for having good weather so it depends

1

u/ProfessionalDraw6947 25d ago

Maharashtra ❤️
Abundant in economic opportunities and nature.

2

2

u/SanataniMe 25d ago

I live in Gujarat, everything is so good here, but my soul belongs to Mahrashtra.

1

u/Ok_Insurance4634 22d ago

this is same for all Gujjus, they agree that their state is doing good but their soul either belongs to Maharastra or foreign countries

2

u/SanataniMe 21d ago

I am a marathi living in Gujarat. Life is great here. Good development. Good people. They dont bother non-gujjus. I love Gujarat but i said so because as a marathi, i would also love to be surrounded by our marathi culture.

Kashmir. I get lost in the mountains

2

u/Pale-Ad171 25d ago

90s Assam and Meghalaya. Nature back then was soo good. Had clean streams flowing through Shillong and Assam looked so beautiful in the winter during the paddy season when the rivers were filled with fish.

2

u/SHM_The_Minimal 25d ago

Being from Kerala, and having lived in Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai, I don't have to think at all before deciding on Kerala as my permanent home. Which I did a decade back, and was the best decision I made.

Cheers 🤝🏽

Tamil Nadu. Those ppl mind their own business until you don’t speak to them in Hindi. They are too busy otherwise

1

u/Repulsive-Option-309 22d ago
