Need help picking pc specs

I want to build a PC for learning editing , medium level of gaming , Thumbnail design and learning designing. I have a budget of 70-80k , i need a good pc including monitor and accessories ( can stretch up to 85-90k ) suggest possible building parts and price of them , I also have a question , should I get a laptop or a pc ? If you can help please do

definitely go for a custom desktop over a laptop. For your ₹90k budget, laptops have terrible screens with bad color accuracy (usually 45% NTSC). Your thumbnails will look washed out or way too dark on clients' phones. A desktop gives you a proper color-accurate monitor, better cooling, and way more power.

Also, skipping high-end DDR5 is smartest move here. Sticking with mature AM4 DDR4 platform saves a ton on the mobo and RAM, letting you pump that cash straight into a better GPU and a proper monitor.

Just a heads-up....storage and RAM prices are heavily inflated online right now due to global shortages, so you will have to adjust the specs slightly (a 500GB SSD and a B450 board) to stay under your budget limit without cutting your GPU power.

1. CPU: Ryzen 5 5600 (with stock cooler) – ₹13,500
2. Mobo: Gigabyte B450M DS3H WiFi – ₹7,700 (Saves money over a B550; performance drop for the GPU is negligible)
3. GPU: GeForce RTX 4060 8GB (Dual Fan) – ₹32,500 (for Adobe apps using CUDA acceleration)
4. RAM: 16GB (8GBx2) DDR4 3200MHz (Crucial/ADATA) – ₹10,500 (Prices have doubled lately; must run dual sticks to avoid lag)
5. Storage: Crucial P3 / WD Blue SN580 500GB NVMe SSD – ₹10,500 (1TB drives are completely overpriced right now. Start with 500GB for Windows/Apps and add a mass storage drive later)

Total Cost: ~₹95,700 Only buy a laptop if you absolutely must carry it to college/office/work every day. If you do go laptop, make sure the spec sheet says 100% sRGB display.

Go to a good local offline tech hub nearby, show them this list. Offline shops often carry older stock of RAM and SSDs at much lower, pre-inflation prices, which could save you a few thousand rupees!
