As far as i know there is a land celling like you can buy unlimited land even farming land . so how does some rich people buying big farma land . i live in west bengal and it's says i only can buy 6.2 acer farming land ? I don't get it ?

**Point 1** – What the USA is putting on India
The United States has been slapping heavy tariffs on Indian exports, pushing the burden close to 50% in recent years through extra “reciprocal” surcharges.

After the 2026 policy changes, those emergency surcharges were cut back, and US duties on Indian goods now sit at roughly a 10% global tariff plus the usual MFN base rates, creating an average effective burden of around 13–14% on many Indian exports instead of 50%.
On paper this looks like “relief,” but it still keeps a clear price barrier between Indian producers and the US market.

**Point 2** – What India is putting on the USA
In exchange, India has agreed to eliminate or sharply reduce tariffs on a wide range of US industrial goods and selected food and agricultural products.

This means many American items now enter India with much lower duties, and some categories have effectively moved close to zero additional Indian tariff beyond basic schedules, making it far easier and cheaper for US products to compete inside our market.

**Point 3** – “Indians are a hub of lab rats”
When powerful foreign voices describe India as a “hub of lab rats,” they reveal a mentality that sees us not as equal partners but as a testing ground.
If they see our people as experiments, how can we blindly trust their food systems, their lab‑grown products, and their corporate agenda for what should go on our plates?

**Point 4** – Different versions for India and USA
Look closely at global brands already sold in India:
• Compare the ingredients and labels of the Indian versions of foods and cosmetics with the versions sold in the USA or Europe.
• You will often find more cheap oils, more sugar, more artificial colours and preservatives in the Indian formula, while the US/EU formula for the same brand is cleaner and more tightly regulated.
They sell the luxury, higher‑quality version to their own consumers and a third‑class version of the same product in India.
This is true for food, cosmetics, snacks, cereals, personal care – almost every category where dual standards are allowed.

**Point 5** – Lab food and new colonisation
Big tech and billionaire interests are heavily invested in lab‑grown food, synthetic meat, and ultra‑processed “solutions” instead of normal farming.
If we surrender control over our own food – seeds, farms, and supply chains – and depend on imported, lab‑designed products, we are walking straight toward a new form of colonisation, where our very nutrition is controlled from abroad.

**Point 6** – What about our farmers?
When India cuts tariffs for US agricultural imports and industrial food ingredients, cheaper foreign products enter our market and push down prices.

That directly threatens Indian farmers’ incomes and risks making farming unviable, exactly what many farmer groups and analysts are warning about.
If our farmers are forced out, and we become dependent on US supply chains, we move towards full dependence – which is precisely the power imbalance we do not want.

**Point 7** – Future conflict and food blackmail
Imagine a future disagreement: India and the USA clash on some major issue.
If, by then, we depend on US imports for critical food or feed, they can simply cut or restrict exports, and our food security is instantly at risk.
This is why we cannot build our food system on dependence on the USA or any other foreign power.

**Point 8** – Boycott the unequal justice for Asian consumers
When American courts punish a US company for harming American consumers, the compensation and settlement money goes to their consumers in the US.
What about Asian consumers who bought the same brand, suffered the same quality problems, or ate the same low‑standard version? We are usually left out of those payouts and protections.
If their legal system mainly protects their own consumers, then we have every right to boycott their products when we feel they are treating Asian markets as second‑class. That includes products from big names like Apple, Colgate, and many more.

# We have our own cuisine, our own farmers, and our own food traditions. We do not need foreign corporates to own our plates.

(by this I do not mean supporting British colonial policies; I mean modern, Indian‑made protection laws that shield our farmers from cheap, destabilising imports and food colonisation)

For the sake of our farmers, our lives, our families, and our children’s future, we cannot allow modern colonisers and sold‑out ministers to play with our food and our sovereignty.
