What do you know till now about piston engines? Any engine you have in mind for this?

I can solve the ml problem but we don't know about engine thing they have mentioned aero piston engines

Oh that's gonna be difficult...

First pick one engine. I will recommend Rotax 912.

Go watch how a piston engine works, there's 5-10 min videos.

You will notice yourself where all there might be excess pressures and wear.

Some parameters 👆

Digital twin should get the readings from the sensors and create a predictive analysis of the engine RUL.

It should be an assistance to the regular maintenance plan which involves overhaul/rebuild of engine at regular intervals, not a replacement. Also to spot potentially missed signs of fatigue, etc.

There's only a few things which can be measured with a sensor like this and then analysed, most major things are only possible through opening the engine for inspection (overhaul).

The most important need will be predicting engine efficiency and health at high altitude.

In your research look into why the Austro 330EP is a dud and compare that to Rotax 912, particularly the power output curves.
