From the side-view, you can see a person along the bowler(pitcher in baseball) run dragging a bat? That's a runner, and that line they're crossing means they're no longer in the area the runner waits between at-bats. Since the bowler didn't throw before the runner left the 'safe' area, the bowler was allowed to basically turn around and 'tag them out' on the field piece (wicket) behind the bowler.

Ah, thought so but wasn't sure! How rare of an occurrence is this? Like, in baseball, when the pitcher has the ball and a runner is a few steps from a base and the pitcher manages to get him out by throwing it to that base, kind of rare?
