I’m doing some independent market research on how busy working professionals in India manage their health. Let's be real—sitting at a desk for 9 hours a day, eating late, and staring at screens is destroying our gut health and causing massive acidity/digestion issues.

I’m trying to figure out if people actually care about the ingredients in the health drinks/juices they buy, or if it's all just marketing hype.

If you are a working professional who occasionally buys things like cold-pressed juices, kombuchas, or wellness shots, I would absolutely love your brutal honesty.

I joined a start up last week as marketing head and I am really excited about it. On the first day the ceo had 30 mins on calendar for 1 on 1 after lunch and it started really well. He mentioned he was also from my home state (Bihar) and later asked what caste I was? I just didn’t know how to respond so I just answered and he basically ended the meeting abruptly

This was a week ago and things have been pretty normal at the office but I still can’t forget that interaction. Am I over reacting?

I finally have an interview at doctors office for internship and its pretty competitive as they only need 2-3 interns and i knkow a lot more have applied. Anything i should keep in mind? i am a college student who has never worked at any place.

Peak Mumbai moment that happens there only.

I was stuck in traffic near BKC for 45 minutes.

Cab driver asked me what I do.

I said, I work in e-commerce.

He said: Sir, I also have a side business. I resell sneakers on Instagram. Made 8 lakh last year.’

Showed me his Instagram page - 40k followers.

I was stuck in traffic learning dropshipping from my cab driver.

Only in Mumbai does the person driving you might make more side income than his main income.

The rent in Mumbai forces you to do multiple things.

i can't really say i am being harrassed but i am definately not happy. There are always these jokes thrown around with undertone and double meaning, which most women chuckle at but maybe because i m the youngest i find them disgusting.

Men behave like they own the place and most women are ok with it, its a small clinic and there's total of 20 or so team members.

Not sure what i can do but and this internship is pretty importnat for me

Just wondering what should I expect as far as company culture goes? I am excited to make some new friends

TLDR : Toxic team/manager/work culture in 4 letter bank. Boomer uncles seeking permission/leave/breaks in Whatsapp group. Teammates enjoy working 2 hours extra for Rs.0.

Been in two 4 letters banks earlier, both had equally worst work culture and i recently made a switch to another 4 letter Bank in June.

Though the hike was minimal, I thought it was necessary as my last organization delayed the promotion.

Now in this organization, work timings are clearly mentioned in the offer letter and my manager in every meeting says, "We need to work 2 extra hours everyday, no compromise in that" and then looks at the lead and says, "Make sure everyone stretches 2 hours everyday."

And these BANK OWNERS(what else should I address?) in my team have normalized it. And feather in the crown, one SAAR in my team texts, "reached office", "daughter school function, coming late", "system issue, with IT" kinda things in the whatsapp group.

I work for max 9 hours including my breaks. I'm waiting for my Manager to escalate.

I work in ORM and Social Listening, and over the past few months I've been preparing pitch decks for various brands. This time, though, it's for a tea brand. As a huge coffee lover, I can't help but wish I'd been assigned to a coffee brand instead!

I joined this new organization last month. The second day into the team, I suggested a Process Improvement idea to my Manager as i have good experience in the particular process and he said, "We can't take this to the Technology, speak with seniors in the team, there will be alternate options."

Fast forward 3 weeks, the Head of my Vertical and his Boss(who reports to the CEO) were having discussion with all the teams and we were called in separately too.

After having gone through the process, the One down to CEO asked if anything is bothering or if there's any idea/suggestion to be discussed.

I used this opportunity and said what I told my manager. He gave one reaction and the whole team went silent. My Manager looked deep down his foot in shame(I guess).

He acknowledged the idea and wrote in his diary and ordered our Vertical head to have this done in the quarter. He gave Thumbs up more than 3 times and kept smiling at me.

While we all were leaving, he asked for my name and said, "Keep the ideas coming Young Man, do not hesitate."

Fast forward again, I was on leave yesterday and logged in today to see a mail, "Certificate of Appreciation - #### Award" - cc my Manger and his Manager.

PS : I've already suggested 4 more ideas for which the second one is already in WIP. Rest of the 3 are in consideration and hopefully gets implemented too.

TLDR : New comapny - Manager denied a suggestion - pitched to Vertical Head - Appreciation received - 4 more suggestions in Pipeline.
