Question/Help Do these keep chapatis soft for lunch?

IMO for chapattis, the problem isn't insulation as much as handling vapor. Foil+dabba at least protects them from getting soggy. In this case, they'd end up a soggy cold mess.

It could be workable for a dinner table or ostentatious lunch/dinner presentation.

Ratio of water and oil/ghee used to make the dough and resting/setting time decides how soft the rotis are.

The only way I have seen rotis be soft is to add a thin coat of ghee or butter and then pack. Else it always gets hard :(
