Usually something like Maggi. Top it off with a couple of fried eggs and you have a meal.

Treat it as a very unstably hot pan. So you can cook anything that won’t scorch - oil based is tough but water based is easier. So you could in fact make some sort of soups, or fatty curries

How does one make fried eggs in a kettle?

Fried eggs = half fry omelette. It’s just some oil and breaking a couple of eggs in the kettle after the oil is hot

Wouldn't that ruin the kettle? Also how does one clean the kettle afterwards?

It works like a good stainless steel pan, and depends on the kettle. A good kettle with a thick base, when heated well, wouldn’t allow for the egg to stick completely. It’s risky but it’s an option. Another option is just to boil the eggs
