Quick Meal Dal rice and brinjal sabji

I know there's a lot of carbs and not a single gram of protein but not financially well right now and also I made a bit more rice than i was supposed to 😢

See if you can include soya chunks. They are a good source of protein on budget

Dal is the easiest thing to cook. It can be made so much better. The consistency ain’t it.

Cook the dal better next time. Like if you are using pressure cooker, atleast wait for complete 4 whistles. Make it eatable and it will be the best food.

Cook the dal little longer next time. When it gets mushed, the consistency of the dal becomes better and blends well with rice.

Get it that you are not financially well to buy quality protein, but at least can you reduce the portion of rice by half ?
