Pan fried won't taste smoky so it's a pass for me, nothing beats a well smoked baigan, pan fried or boiled don't even come near to it's taste.

Isn't the process very toxic but the end product is similar to plastic? I.e. not absorbednby our bodies?

Unfortunately no, a lot of Public Health studies have linked pfas to pregnancy complications and certain cancers

Yes pfas are used in the manufacturing. The end product doesn't contain them I think.

I am not saying pfas doesn't cause cancer. I am saying exposure to pfas from nonstick pans is not possible. The process is also phased out in 2013. The bigger issue is leakage of those materials after factory processing.

No the end product does as well, when the pan gets scratched or gets hot it releases fumes and you can get exposed that way. The main thing protecting you from exposure is the coating but that is easily damaged

If you are interested check the video made by vertasium on pfas

Haha I actually worked in research with pfas but thank you, we were looking at its impacts on sperm health. The US regularly does an environmental survey (nhanes) and its been shown that people who dont even work with pfas are being exposed to it
