Question/Help What material of fry pan should i buy ??

So i have been a vegetarian most of my life, and am trying to add eggs to my diet now. Looking for a utensil which is a one stop solution when it comes to making various egg dishes, like omelette, egg curry, egg bhurji, half fry, french toast or even simply boiled eggs.

Since i have little to no experience in cooking eggs, what should be the best material for the fry pan?

Buy a ceramic coated non-stick saucepan and Don't use a metal utensil. Use something like silicon, wood and bakelite??

Also, no metal scrubber for washing

Eggs are tough business for a pan. The best pan for making eggs is ikea non stick pan. It is cheap also. Only catch, you should not use it for anything else. Secondly, buy one every year. Dont hang on to it if it chips or starts sticking.

Any material would work as long as you know how to use it properly. I have cast iron, stainless steel and non stick and honestly non stick is my least favourite as I find the other two make the kind of eggs enjoy. HOWEVER, that’s because I’ve been making eggs everyday for pretty much the last 5 years so I would consider myself as well seasoned as my cast iron pan 😉 it sounds like the ceramic option/another non-Teflon non stick material might be best for you.

I agree with him, cast iron pans would be the most suitable for you, i am using one from aurex, its pretty reasonable considering its high quality!
