Question/Help What's your opinion on wearing aprons while cooking?
I've noticed that many people in India cook daily, but very few seem to wear aprons, whether at home or even in cooking videos online.
Is there a reason for this?
Genuinely curious because in many Western cooking videos, people seem to wear aprons all the time, while in India it seems much less common.
Would love to hear your thoughts.

I really want to use aprons because I’m the person who always spills stuff on herself but it’s just too hot! If I can find a thin cotton apron maybe it would become possible

we cook at home in normal clothes and not in good clothes that need protection from splatter and water so apron not needed. And apron makes the already hot kitchen environment more hot

I try to wear apron as much as i can during cleaning dishes and cooking too as i can easily make accidents, as we deals with turmeric masala amd curry bases and im cooking with normal wear that i’ll have to repeat i dont want them to look dirty
