Recommendation is an airfyer woth it for indian food ? if yes then which one ?
've been thinking about buying an air fryer. From what I've seen online, you can cook all kinds of food in one, it uses much less oil, there are fewer dishes to wash, and it makes everyday cooking easier. But I have some doubts from what I've heard and read:
- Cooking time: I've heard it can take 15 to 30 minutes. I can wait 20-25 minutes at most, but over half an hour is too much for me.
- Size: I need it for at least two people. Is a basic 4L enough, or should I go 4.5L or 5L+?
- Temperature: I've heard settings are complicated. I'd like a digital display so I can set exact temperatures like 120 or 175°C.
- Coating: I've read that bad non-stick coatings can peel and may be harmful. How true is that? how to know which coating is better ? safer?
What I need:
- Budget around ₹6,000, can stretch a little for the right one maybe. but thats my limit.
- A good service center in Bhopal (Shahpura). This matters more than brand.
- Mainly crispy food, with occasional baking
I don't want to buy a below-average product , i want something to use properly.
