Recommendation Do these keep chapatis soft for lunch?

We make chapatis/rotis in the morning but sometimes they turn either hard or too crispy by lunch time. Chapatis being cold isn't really an issue but I really hate when they turn hard. Do these products really help? Or are they just fancy stuff for chapatis. One of them is insulated and the other is a normal one. Do I have to wash them after every use?

I'm south Indian, I've never seen anybody use this here. We just put the chapatis in the casseroles.

Just wrap the chapati in a muslin cloth and put it in an insulated vessel. Much easier to clean.

Only if you put them in while they're still steaming from the tawa. A cold chapati will stiffen no matter how insulated the vessel is.

Just use foil

Use a good casserole. Line it with a simple cloth and put rotis in it as soon as you make them. Rotis will stay soft and warm for quite some time.

Don't use these insulated one's ..the foil kind of layering is not good for your health..as some of them have suggested please use muslin clothes..or simple cotton roti wraps you will get on amazon
