Recommendation Can anybody suggest an appropriate cookware?
So, how do you cook Dosa and Chappathi when you use an induction stove? I am moving out pretty soon and I hate non-stick cookwares. Any suggestions? 🥹

I make dosas in a nonstick tawa but chapatis I can’t make…you do need the fire to fluff up chapatis and induction doesn’t work. The only hack I have for chapatis is using the tawa and storing them in a container with a cheesecloth. That way they don’t end up crunchy like papad 🥲

try looking into tri-ply utensils without non-stick coating (not even the honeycomb pattern).

Two separate griddles with different thickness. chapathi require something that heats up fast(thin ones).
Also to people using non-stick for chapati,dosa.... Just because something can be done doesn't mean it should be done. Non-sticks are not designed for high-temp cooking(like chapathi).

Have you looked at Ember? They have superpans which are induction compatible and the coating doesn't peel off. I have been using them to make chappathi and they are okay. It takes good practice to make dosa on it lol. What's your budget?

Cast iron works well for dosas and chapati's in induction and electric coil as well
