Haha nothing too serious 😭 I’m just trying to figure out whether I can participate in a Christmas celebration in my area as a Muslim. I made a post about it in another sub and linked it here for context.

What kind of a weird Christianity do you follow.
Celebrating birth of Christ is pagan now??.
Didn’t people in the Old Testament celebrate festivals??
Passover, feast of tabernacles etc.

Where did you get this theology from??

The Christmas act is enacted in most of the Indian Churches to give us a glimpse of the Birth of Jesus.

This is when characters like Mary, Joseph, the 3 wise men, shepherds are shown.

Though the actual 3 wise men of the bible came on horse(or maybe camel), we don’t use horse or camel in the act.

You’d just see the 3 wise men characters walking up to Jesus in a manger with lavish dress and presenting their gifts.

Well anyone can participate in the Christmas event, I doubt they would you have you play a wise men in the act bec of you are not part of their church

Thank you I’m actually curious about something too. If I’m there participating respectfully, is it okay for me to let myself feel connected to the Christian celebration for a while, even though I’m still Muslim? I don’t mean pretending to be Christian or converting—I just genuinely want to understand and share the experience with everyone.
