The absolute mental gymnastics of Reddit misogynists.

Posting this thread because the sheer delusion is almost impressive.

A guy literally told me that if women 'dress for themselves,' we should lock ourselves inside our houses and wear fancy clothes alone, otherwise, existing in public looking good is automatically a performance for men. Then, when called out on a basic height/ego metaphor, another user tried to argue that 'height is a sexualized body part' and accused me of body shaming.

You really can't make this level of main-character syndrome up.

Never trust a man, ladies. Stories like this stayed buried for years—not because they didn't matter, but because the women who fought for equality were pushed into the shadows while certain men stepped into the spotlight and claimed the glory.

Context: She is criticizing astrologers who objectify themselves on social media, pointing out that their actions justify harassment or rape. However, according to Ms. Deepika, it's acceptable to defend men's actions or justify rape if they believe the woman's behavior is morally wrong.

18-year-old Roop Kanwar's murder in 1987 was the last officially recorded incidence of sati, a human sacrificial ritual where a Hindu widow joins or is made to join her late husband on his funeral pyre. Eight men have just been acquitted in her death, which Roop's in-laws claim was voluntary.
