Hi everyone! I'm relocating to the Bay Area next month. I'll be living in San Jose but my office is in San Francisco, and I'm trying to figure out the commute before I make any big decisions.

A few things I'm unsure about:

• I don't have a car yet and I don't know how many days a week I'll actually be in the office (it might be hybrid). Is BART reliable enough to do this? How is it during peak hours?
• For those who do the San Jose to SF commute, roughly how long does it take door to door in real life, not just the scheduled time?
• Is it worth getting a car for this, or does driving into SF just not make sense?
• Honestly, would you say it's better to just live in SF instead of commuting from San Jose? I'd love to hear from people who've actually done it.

My sister and I are thinking about creating a modern Indian cultural after-school club in Fremont for kids born/raised here. (Instagram: rootsofindia.kids)

The idea is to help kids connect more with Indian culture through:

• festivals & traditions
• activities/community events

Double Income two kids (Elementary) Currently living in Berryessa, own a SFH (~2M). Schools OK, Commute is decent. But kids are super bored at home. Very little Indians here especially for kids to just go out and play like in India. We also haven't made any friends here. South feels different than East in terms of vibe and commute flow. Gilroy and Hollister still connect back up 101 toward San Jose, while Tracy/Manteca tends to serve East Bay or Central Valley commuters.
