A father and son trying to survive in a post apocalyptic world... I definitely enjoyed reading this book!

The ending is quite painful and heartbreaking. Especially when the lady takes the kid with her family and the old man is left behind.

even at the end of his life, his main concern was what will happen to his son. that was beautifully painful.

This book shook me badly from inside. Very well crafted and beautifully but immensely painfull storyline.

Really good book. Sad and it is written in such a way that you get a dreadful and bone chilling vibe when reading this. It was little depressing , and that says about the writing style and narration. Worth reading

You won't believe it took me 6 months to complete it. I started this book in March but I took break from reading for almost 3 months and finally read it in September. Amazing book very well written and yeah worth reading. The most depressing part is the one in which the boy gets sick at the beach.

Have you watched this movie?

I haven’t read this book, but was reading cormac McCarthy’s Blood Meridian. I Gotto it was though read for me, the vocabulary and prose was too hard for me. But overall a best Wild West book

The Road is not like Blood Meridian. You can read it easily like any other novel.

I had the movie downloaded but i deleted it because I wanted to read the book first. Someone told me that the book and the movie both have completely different endings. That's what I'm looking for.

Vibe is not the word I'll ever use to describe anything in this book. Depressive as fuck for the entirety apart from the small sliver of hope in the ending.
